Self Indulgent Story Idea Ramble #1 P.1
You should ignore this trash post from my trash mind that has my favorite trash tropes. Will include unwilling monster yandere and his poor obsession UvU
Thinking about making a lil cute adventure couple composing of a former noblewoman who is a magic user and a light-hearted knight. They mutually are pining for each other, and they have each other’s back. They love and care for the other, but it’s unspoken due to fear of the other not feeling the same way and potentially ruining their friendship. There is always a longing to be closer. This little cutesy fun thing they have going on comes to a halt when they decide to do a mission to stop a group of spiteful rogue witches from destroying the nearby kingdom. They’re down to slaying the last one who was leading this plot, and she claims that the kingdom will be doomed with or without her before casting a spell directed towards the former noblewoman. The attack does not land though because her knight blocked it :D ...with his body :( so it hits him instead RIP. Nothing immediate happens, so they kill the witch and heal injuries. Of course, the magic user is freaking out because she didn’t even recognize what kind of spell the witch cast, but the knight assures her he'll be alright...before passing out.
The former noblewoman is forced to carry him back to her house and can’t go out on missions for obvious reasons. She tends to him, but nothing really seems to be wrong besides him not being conscious (which is still worrying). Things do get a little strange when he wakes up, though.
He says he feels a little weird but feels worse for being a burden for a couple of days while his partner brushes it off and says it was no problem and asks if he needs to rest more. The knight states he does not and just wants to go back to missions, but the magic user is still very concerned because she doesn’t know the effects of the spell. After going back and forth about it, they decide since there is no apparent change in his psyche or physical appearance, the spell must’ve just been cast to knock them out. Unfortunately, they find this to be untrue the next few days because he does start showing some changes. He acts a little more clingy of his things and a lot more protective of his partner. Sometimes she swears he can hear him growling at things which she laughs off when she catches him doing in, but the most concerning thing is the horrible hunger that plagues him.
It’s almost like he’s showing signs of some type of monster.
This worries the both of them and his condition starts advancing the longer he has been awake. The magic user quickly scrambles to find out what is wrong with her partner. He doesn’t even eat cooked things anymore and starts eating things raw. Of course, his mental state isn’t the best because he has no idea what is happening to him and he’s actually scared of what is happening inside him. The situation becomes even more worrisome when physical changes start to happen. Claws and fangs were easy to hide at first but when he starts tearing into a monster they were fighting and eating it on a mission, they both decide they should figure out what is happening ASAP. They both agree he should stay at her house while she goes on missions to gather resources and information on this spell.
Which just leaves him with his thoughts every day until she comes home. Thoughts that increasingly become twisted. He understandably is concerned by this and pushes them out of the way whenever he gets them. He has faith in his partner and knows if there’s anyone who can do it, it’s her.
