Here is every AU / Idea I've had for Emil and Soleil :)) TW: self harm, su1c1de Context on their main relationship: When they first met, and for the first five months, Soleil loved Emil (platonically)! Emil, however, hated Soleil deeply and treated him like absolute shit. He only ever softened up and stopped yelling at Soleil after: Zombies broke through defenses and got into their refugee camp whilst everyone was asleep. One broke into Emil's medical tent and began to strangle him. Soleil showed up due to having a headache (he wanted medicine)and saved him! Huzzah! Eventually, they became good friends. Soleil had feelings for Emil, and Emil had feelings for Soleil. Still, they never told each other because Emil was sure Soleil would reject him because of how he had treated him in the past, even though he hadn't been rude to him since. Soleil was sure Emil would say no just because he is super clingy, and was sure Emil would hate that (Soleil has severe separation anxiety, and seeks comfort through physical touch like hugs!) Yay au time 1) Soleil accidentally pushes Emil past his comfort zones too many times, making Emil abandon him and desert him in the middle of nowhere :((( (this was while they were friends, and Emil still hated him) 2) Emil is about to propose his feelings to Soleil after a drastic change of heart and a nice mental breakdown. Little does he know, while he was lost in his own anguish and self-hatred, Soleil was strangling himself :))) 3) Soleil is infected and burned on a stake before fully turning, and Emil has to watch. (This was decided by the refugees' chaplains, as a way to 'set his soul free'. Multiple others were burned alive along with him.) 4) Same thing as #3 but the roles are reversed 5) While Emil likes Soleil (Soleil doesn't feel the same in this au), Emil decides he should ask him out! No time like the present, especially since it's the zombie apocalypse. Soleil doesn't feel the same. Why? Maybe because you were a jerk for five months, Emil! Emil used to hate Soleil for his sunny personality and constantly yelled at him for being too loud, too touchy, too needy, blah blah blah, just nitpicking. Soleil slowly dimmed, and now 'fits Emil's standards', which is why Emil suddenly tolerates, and even has feelings for him. After Soleil rejects him and explains why, Emil's guilt consumes him. He stops eating, stops leaving his tent, stops helping his patients, stops doing anything, really. He was found dead in his medical tent due to a precise cut on his jugular artery, a bloodied scalpel in his hand. Soleil basically rotted next to Emil's body, upset at himself, and when he tried to hug Emil's body, he found dozens of self-harm scars :)) Soleil moves on, but is forever changed by the trauma of Emil's words and his death. (Btw, all this stuff is exclusive to THIS. AU. ONLY. Soleil does not change his personality; these are not Emil's standards, blablabla in any other AU.) 6) SHOUT OUT TO MY SCP FANS!!! This one is inspired by In His Own Image. For those who don't know, allow me to explain the plot: When Soleil meets Emil, his expectations are crushed by his indifferent and irritable personality. However, joy avails!!! For a while. As time goes on, Emil's attitude eats away at Soleil, crushing any happiness from his soul, forcing him to throw away the things that comfort him (due to it being 'childish'), and just becoming a husk. He eventually kills himself, leaving a note to Emil about not wanting to turn into him and being afraid of losing all of his humanity, noting he no longer reacts to certain things as he used to. OK NOW HAPPY ONES AHA 7) Post blight au! They get married and get a lot of dogs :3 basically it. 8) Modern au!!! Soleil works in a symphony, and plays the cello! Emil is a brain surgeon, and when they retire, Emil still volunteers at hospitals! ya ok i dont have many happy ones </3

Im planning on writing all of these, and making them into fics!!! I'm considering starting one in the pov of Emil's journal entries detailing him meeting Soleil, and what happens after.

Also, AMELIA. If you're reading this, STOP MISCHARACTERIZING SOLEIL INTO A WHINY TWINK. HE'S NOT.

This drawing is rushed so dont mind how booty it is. Also the quality is ASS. AHHH. Emil: You look like a girl, Soleil: Am I a pretty girl? Emil: No, because you aren't a girl. Soleil: Oh. Emil: (Feels a little bad) I mean, you're handsome. Soleil: Oh! :) Have I mentioned Emil is pretty blunt when it comes to stuff like this? He is very literal. Not like in the way where he can't pick up social cues, I mean that sometimes when things go against fact, he doesn't realize it's figurative language or a metaphor. For example, if you exaggerated something, like if there was a horde of zombies and someone said "Whoa, there's like a million of them," He'd immediately respond with "There's nowhere near a million, there's only fifteen." For Soleil, he doesn't really understand sarcasm well because he is too happy all the time to realize when people are messing with him. People may think it's hilarious, and on occasion try to screw with him, but he has guard dog privileges (Emil), so they usually stop pretty fast.

Soleil has a radiant smile, if that wasn't made clear. I like to think he and Tanjiro would get along great, iykyk. I was too lazy to color it so you all get blobs of color. yw :)))
