tbh at this point personally i think taylor’s more focused on the re-records than creating anything new. that doesn’t mean she isn’t writing bc we know she’s almost always writing but i doubt she’s made an entire third new album and is going to release it in the middle of releasing and recording taylor’s versions. plus we originally weren’t even supposed to get a second album, it just kind of happened. to be fair i haven’t seen/looked into any of the theories (until a couple days ago i thought people were talking about the woodvale theories from last year) i just personally don’t think a third installment of the folklore universe is going to happen

i felt the same way until i saw all those tiktoks and then i was like BUT WHAT IF and i needed someone to reel me in lol. i also kinda feel like the two balance each other and a third isn’t necessary (but would be welcomed?) unless it’s like a part three lover vibe x indie sound bc it would end more happily than evermore? but again i love evermore so i’m more than in love with that wrapping up the era too
