It’s been many years since I’ve published anything on AO3. Over the past 5 years, I’ve grown as a reader, as a writer, as someone who has in the past used writing as emotional therapy. I’m still not ready to write anything new. That said, I am doing a bit of a fic overhaul. I’ll be going through my AO3 catalog, making edits/cleaning up the grammar and flow/adding new content throughout here and there. It’ll be a slow project, but I think it’ll be good for me to look back on what I have written with pride and accomplishment, and possibly gear myself up for more projects in the future.

I plan to start with, honestly, the most emotionally intense and draining project I’ve ever written, No Angel, for my favorite crackship that I still can’t believe never made it to the big screen because HOT DAMN they look so good together and there’s so much writing potential for these two characters. A big thank you to those who have read my fics in the past, left comments/kudos/bookmarks, and I hope you will feel inspired to do a re-read after these edits.

so…. the first chapter of my sweetvee fic is 8893 words and that’s incredible but like idk whether to edit and post it tomorrow or wait until I at least have a few chapters because I’m afraid I’ll end up getting burnt out and not writing for months like last time and I don’t want that to happen :(

GOD SweetVee would be such a fierce and loyal yet soft and sweet couple I’m upset

Like people assume she’s with him for protection but we know she can hold her own so someone comes at her and she just fucks them up and says, “contrary to popular belief, I do not need a big, strong, scary man to protect me.”

But then like five minutes later they’ll be kissing and cuddling and he’ll talk about how sexy her holding her own was (and in general of course), and just… I’m soft okay and I have no one to really say any of it to because I have no SweetVee moots 😭😭😭

SweetVee fic/drabble inspiration

So, I thought of Jughead calling out Betty in the last episode and I was thinking of my oc doing the same because she’s a boss ass bitch and I miss her, and then I was like… well what about Veronica since they never allow her to call Betty out or anything. And thus I began to think about this little SweetVee drabble that would eventually transpire to Veronica letting loose on Betty and just...

To sum it up: Veronica comes to town and while Sweet Pea hates North Siders and shallow rich people, he is drawn to Veronica bc who wouldn’t, and so they meet somehow and go back and forth with banter and such, and end back up at his trailer "hate fucking” ig you could say (“I know you’re used to lavish suites and pampering but you won’t get that here, princess.” “oh, please, if I wanted to be treated like I’m a priceless piece of art, I wouldn’t be here in your trailer now, would I?”)

And thus grows their relationship which does evolve from “enemies” to genuine feelings and such, and of course Betty, who canonly hated/didn’t like the SS until they randomly changed her personality to make her fit with Jughead, she’s going to disapprove and point it out how he could hurt her and such and thus Veronica calls out her manipulative ways and that she should mind her own business considering she constantly cheats on Jughead (who only knew of one of the four times she cheated with Archie) and just… yeah sweetvee and Betty slander what could be better?

anyways I just started the doc and now I will be going to make an outline :) or maybe I’ll just change it to a long drabble idk yet

Wait how is Sweet Pea x Veronica’s ship name SweetVee… like yeah it looks better but realistically because of their names it would be SweetVea like who decided to add the extra e at the end ghasjkfshfdj

Anyways thank fucking god to whoever created their ship name to not make it ugly af we love you!!! if only we knew his real name maybe we could combine their last names or something muah (bc I cannot base it off my headcanon of SP’s name being Nathan/Nathaniel Mantle)
