Sweety Plus+ Hydrocor Gray Review

I have been following Japanese Candy Online on Facebook for quite a while now and I have also been dying to buy a new pair of lenses since my last one dried and are itchy to wear already. I always opt for gray colored lenses with natural patterns but this time I gave in and bought these Hydrocor Gray lenses.

This is how it came in the mail. Super kawaii package design! That’s what I noticed first lol. The package comes with a free lens case that looks like candy. Super cute! The text on the bottles are in Thai, though, so yeah. But whatevs i guess lol. The lenses came safe and sealed anyway so yay! I got the Hydrocor lenses in -1.50 grade. I’m not that blind but sometimes I end up riding the wrong bus cause I read the sign wrong lol. So kids, don’t commute without your glasses/contact lenses. :p

COLOR AND DESIGN: ✮✮✮✮ 4/5

I didn’t like the lenses on me at first. I thought I looked like one of the zombies in Train to Busan orz. The lenses didn’t have a pattern, the design is just a block gray color. But with the right make up and sometimes lighting it comes through! It gives you a really caucasian-y look lol. Parang foreigner ganun! But if you’re looking for a more natural look I guess this lenses are not for you hehe. 

COMFORT: ✮✮✮✮✮ 5/5

Super duper comfortable! One time I even forgot I was wearing lenses I almost rubbed my eyes. I’ve tried a lot of contact lenses and this is one of the most comfortable and light on the eyes.

Overall, I loved it. It’s just not your everyday lenses but this is perfect for going out. Awra! Ganun! lol. I got mine at Japanese Candy Online on Facebook. They’ve got a lot of lens variety.
