Camp NaNo July 2019 - General Recap ~ Sweety
Projects: Sit In Judgement of What Makes Us Human (FFxii fanfic) + The Last Journey (FFxii fanfic) + Original Larp projects
Total words/goal: 37028/30000
Satisfaction: This Camp NaNo was mostly good for me. I am not fully happywith what I wrote, mainly because I changed a lot of things in my outlines (oh the editing I will have to do this next month!) but I like my ideas, and I have been quite productive. Not only on my main project but on a nex fic these last few days and on some original larp projects (hence why I did not always post sentence of the days). Overall a great but tiring and difficult month.
Excerpt:
She was like the statues in the tombs of legendary kings. An armored automaton hunched over the sleeping form of her monarch, never to rise except to fight whoever threatened the eternal rest of her charge.
Dangerous beyon human comprehension. Filled with the rage and sorrow of ages past. Distorted by the mist. She did not acknowledge his presence, nor did she bow to him. Vayne smiled, a secret internal smile meant for himself alone.
‘Distorted by the mist...’ resonated Venat’s whispering voice in his mind. ‘More powerful than him even...’
Yes, thought Vayne. So powerful. The calm and quiet of the mourning room did not fit with the turmoil in his mind. Powerful automaton. This was cruel, this was unfair. This was a necessity.
