Making an I-cord cast on with 2.5mm needles is the proof that I am a sucker for punishment. But I am happy with the results. Colourwork pictures progress soon!

NaNoWriMo 2019 - Final recap ~ Sweety
Projects: Sit in Judgement of What Makes Us Human (Final Fantasy XII fanfiction) + my Master’s Thesis
Total words/goal: 55806/50000
General thoughts: First of all sorry for not doing weekly recaps like I said I would - I was honestly too exhausted and not motivated enough. I suppose I will one day learn the lesson that too much work is just too much (Nano + Huevember + University + theatre class + larping + knitting festival + cinema festival) and that it is very difficult to be active online when all my energy is spent elsewhere.
Anyway!
Satisfaction: Overall, this Nano has been pretty satisfying -mainly thanks to Amy’s support and to the write-ins with my dearest @psychicwhisperywitch <3
I have made good progress on both of my projects (although I am more satisfied with my fanfic than with my thesis, but that was to be expected. Still, I am ending this Nano feeling rather good. Not over the top satisfaction, but it did the job of forcing me to work.
Future: What do I expect now? I hope that I will continue writing daily and not put it in the backgorund of more motivating or urgent activities, because that is what I truly want out of Nano, a routine to keep.
Favorite excerpt -spoilers for Sit In Judgement I guess-:
In the end, they did not wait too long. They heard his steps before he even passed the door, an ominous sound in the corridor. He opened the door and closed it without locking it.
He was as ever, fully clad in armour, tall, dangerous. His helmet was on, but Drace still knew that he did not spare any of her companions a glance as he strode through the room, stopping only when he was painfully close to her.
“So you truly are alive,” sneered Bergan in lieu of greetings. “Some things just refuse to die, do they not?”
No #Huevember posts until Sunday evening for #larp reasons. I had meant to post this earlier but i got caught up in driving and preparing 😅
