Look behind you. What do you see?
My laundry basket, pushed up beside my bookshelf, as well as a copy of The Art of Dragon Age: Inquisition lying on the floor beside it.
What is the last animal you saw? Describe it to me!
A pigeon with a thousand-yard stare strutting along in the parking lot beside my apartment building. It’s likely “decorating” my windowsill as we speak.
What is the most loyal object you own?
Loyal is a trait I’d sooner ascribe to living creatures moreso than the inanimate, but I’ve been using the same Wacom tablet for the last ten years. Impressive for a piece of hardware. I’ve begun to suspect that it’ll outlive me.
Do you prefer to walk or to take the transports?
If the weather is agreeable and the surroundings tolerable, I’d sooner walk.
What kind of pie are you?
Pumpkin. Fall is when I’m at my best, and the closer to Halloween we are, the more I grin.
If you could only bring one beverage to an isolated island, what would it be? (of course you have water on the island, because water is the only drink we truly need.)
Orange juice is a delight. So is tea, but it needs a dash of milk, and I can only bring one potable.
What is the best thing that could happen to you today?
Without going into detail on the stressful shite going on chez Erlenwald, somebody coming to me to tell me that the Beast is no more.
Is there a song stuck in your head?
I was listening to Dream No More from Metallica’s new album earlier; it tends to stick.
What is the last piece of writing you read? (can be anything, from a book to the back of a cereal box)
This question! =P But on a more literary note, I was reading The Calling. It’s a Dragon Age book. I’ve read worse, but I was expecting better.
What movie would you recommend to me?
Mm, Pan’s Labyrinth was most impressive, both on a story and visual front. Most fantasy films are pretty crappy, but when you find a gem, you find a gem. This one is one of those. I’ve mentally shuffled it onto my list of nostalgic movies, and I was an adult when I first saw it. Few films have that claim. Watch Pan’s Labyrinth.
Are you sure?
Very sure.
Paging @zeldabard, @princess-oldguy, @julesfelden, @britofthebacklogs, @cutie-toes, and 6 wild cards. Here are my questions:
1. Describe your ideal home.
2. Which do you like better? Fandom-created content like fanart/fic, or artists/writers’ original works?
3. Right-handed, left-handed, or ambidextrous?
4. Describe a book, play, movie, etc that you would like to see, but just haven’t run across.
5. What’s your favourite animal? In a broad sense. We’re talking anything from a sperm whale to a protozoa.
6. All of a sudden, you have manifested a supernatural power. What would it be?
7. For the creators, what’s your favourite part of worldbuilding? For the consumers, what kinds of worldbuilding draw you into a story?
8. Favourite Pokemon evil team. You know you have one.
9. You may choose one skill to master, instantly, right now. What would it be?
10. What sort of blogs do you tend to follow?
11. The world must end. Choose your apocalypse. What will it be? Zombies, meteors, alien invasion, volcanic eruptions, nuclear war, the twilight of the gods, unending rains of baby octopi until we all suffocate beneath their tiny, writhing tentacles? Or maybe some other scenario?
