Fun little doodle page from work. Swift knows that those around him take themselves and life far too seriously - and knows with personal experiences that it’s never that serious. Because it was an accident, really, from start to finish. He’s worked beside gods and primordial forces many times - he knows fundamentally that the existential dread the others face doesn’t even occur to the same beings they believe to have been serving their lives to.
Making up for his diminished physical performance, Swift has become a powerhouse of skill and technique more than anything. However, that only takes you so far. Full blooded Hylians are already short, but Swift is especially so, not helped by most of his companions not being full blooded Hylian themselves. At least he knows he’s one centimetre taller than his father… at least there is that.
Mage doesn’t believe secrets have a place in a good, honest society, whilst Bones watched his people die for the sin of preserving theirs. So they are firm ‘tell all’ believers. But Swift lived and died trying to fool the world, the gods, his kingdom… and the one time he’d thought he could stop, could be safe, truly, without a mirage or mask to hide behind-
Well, let’s just say it was a tragedy indeed that the first prince born after Hyrule abolished the ‘Rule of Princes’ was the catalyst of the Tragedy of Princess Zelda.
Swift would - upon discovering how to use a Sheikah slate - leave reviews and critiques of anything he comes into contact with. The Faron Sky Islands of Aspect’s time have received… poor ratings. Mostly because it’s wet, and miserable, because it’s monsoon season, but Swift cares little about such little things.
I don’t think these little doodles will get much more attention from me, but they were fun. I have some more to ink for Engie and Spirit Zelda - who needs a name, hmm - so here we are.
