"Usagi! Happy birthday!" She hands her a gift bag with sweets of almost every kind in it, and a bow with a hand made necklace- a ribbon with a moon charm bought at the craft store- dangling from the front.

"Chibiusa… You didn’t have to!" The blonde couldn’t help but smile as she reached down, patting the small rabbit’s head. No matter how often they fought, she really did love the girl more than anything in the world.

"I have a gift for you, too! Don’t think I forgot about your special day.”

Usagi quickly retrieved her gift, handing over a small gift-wrapped box to Chibiusa. Inside was a charm bracelet adored with pink pearls, various gems, and a small white and pink bunny.

I do! But I also think she’d have more attacks that are physical/able to damage, unlike her mother.

That is what I was thinking too! That her primary attacks (Pink Sugar Heart Attack, Pink Ladies Freezing Kiss) are much more physically offensive than Usagi's attacks, which are based mainly in purifying and healing. I can definitely imagine Chibiusa growing and evolving to gain more attacks that involve being able to physically damage her opponents. Though now, consider she has Pink Ladies Freezing Kiss, I'm wondering if Ice becomes her element (the moon is cold???) or if she has some touch of each of the Inner Senshi's elements or what. If anything I would have guessed fire to be more like Chibiusa than ice.

To what degree do you believe Chibiusa has actually controlled the course her life has taken? While she is destined to be Princess, and by default Queen, how do you see the course of her life being altered by outside forces verses her inner self?

I believe that Chibiusa and the Asteroids have more freedom and control over their destiny than any of the other Senshi before them. Chibiusa is Princess and will be Queen, that is decided, but that’s the only thing decided by her birth.

Where as Usagi had the enemies of her kingdom before her (the Dark Kingdom and Dead Moon Circus) and the sins of her future (the Black Moon Clan) Chibiusa has none of that to chain her down. There are no ancient enemies waiting in lurk for her. The closest she has to a burden of the past is the remnants of the Black Moon Clan, to deal with how she pleases. 

I see Chibiusa being determined to cut her own path through life. My Chibiusa is a revolutionary, one who dreams of expanding her Kingdom past Earth, to the glory of the Silver Millennium and beyond. She isn’t content to just make her planet beautiful and happy - she wants to expand, to explore, the innovate. I see the course of her life being very driven by her own ambition, her own heart, her own goals and dreams, rather than outside forces coming to her.
