Sooo... anyone remember this little fic?
I hope Swinty you don't mind me using your extremely beautiful cover for it!
I took it off a little while ago as I was going to finish it and maybe change it a little into an original fic, but I just can't stop thinking of these two as the original characters... so I thought I should just put it back up and finish it properly for any Klaroliners who want to know the end...
A little preview:
“Hi” she said softly, watching as he walked toward her, the light reflecting off his golden curls, giving him a golden halo. He stopped in front of her, and she saw the bleak look on his face.
“Hey” he replied, equally quietly, his eyes moving over her, his eyes holding a hint of disbelief.
He looked just like when she’d first met him, black leather and moody expressions.
“It’s a surprise to see you here”
“Likewise, sweetheart” he murmured, his eyes tracing over her face, the line of her jaw, down to her collarbones. She stood uncomfortably for a moment, following his blue eyes in their path.
“Well? What is it, do I have something on me?” she finally asked, exasperated, crossing her arms over her chest. He stepped closer, and she felt a fist tighten around her heart. Up close, she could see his cerulean eyes were shot with red, and dark circles lined the skin beneath.
His hand reached out, and surprised her with a gently touch to her cheek. She stared at him, confused. His fingers splayed along her cheek, and run softly down her neck.
“I can’t seem to get this part right. The space, the clean line… it is difficult to capture.” He was muttering.
“As are you, my dear” he said, finally dropping his hand and raising his eyes back to her.
To repost or not to repost, that is the question, my friends!!
swinty81 replied to your post:Do you think they'll announce whatever is getting...
She means the Television Critics Associatin press tour hed in summer.
LOL OKAY THANK YOU, that actually was exactly what I was thinking of but for some reason I couldn’t think of what it was called and I guess because I was already confused I thought the abbreviation was something different.
I am an oncologist and was def peeved about how badly researched and thus written the brain tumor storyline was. Their depiction of the progression of the disease and treatment options where really off.
Wow! There you have it guys they totally failed with the Liz storyline last season. They really suck then. I don’t know why they don’t put more research into things. Its like they think because its a vampire world they can make up everything. If they’re going to use real life stuff then they need to do their research. It was such a sensitive plot too even more so they should have done their researcher.
HALFAGONY-HALFHOPE SAID: YES, I HAVE A FIC REC TAG: HALFAGONY-HALFHOPE.TUMB…
I thought so. Thanks so much, dear! Here you go @swinty81. Enjoy! :)
AUSTEN FANFIC RECS
Doing a rewatch of P&P 1995 and 2005 I feel like reading some P&P fanfic (havent read any before), do you maybe have some recommendations?
You know, I actually haven’t read any read any P&P-exclusive fanfic myself. At least not on A03 or FF.net. (Tbh, idk why I haven’t yet haha.) Most of my Austen-related reading has come from published sequels/re-interpretations. I’ve read things like: Pemberley by Emma Tennant, Bridget Jones’s Diary by Helen Fielding, Austenland by Shannon Hale, Death Comes to Pemberley by P.D. James, and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies by Seth Grahame-Smith. They vary from chick-lit to fantasy-esque, but I found them interesting in different degrees.
Perhaps some of my followers have some suggestions? Sorry if I’m mistaken, but @halfagony-halfhope, I think I may have seen you post some P&P fanfic recs before?
I’m sorry I couldn’t be more helpful! :/

WW or US?
don’t know :/
The Devil in Me indeed is a classic and it's completed which imho always is a plus. If you ever do write Klaroline Civil War let me know. I'd lvoe to make a cover for it.
Completed fics make me infinitely happy, so that’s good to know. I can’t wait to read it! I need to try and pace myself so that I complete my projects, but if obsession takes over, all bets are off haha.
And I’ll definitely tell you if I decide to write a Klaroline Civil War AU fic. I’m inept at fic covers, mostly because I’m without Photoshop capabilities on my computer, so that would be awesome! I imagine I’ll write a period fic at some point, though. I’m too obsessed with them not to at least try. ;)
