A delicious twist on a classic Reuben sandwich, this Grilled Corned Beef Swiss on Rye Burger combines the flavors of corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and Russian dressing in a juicy burger patty. Grilled to perfection and served on toasted rye bread, it's a burger you won't forget!
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 4 slices of rye bread. 4 slices of Swiss cheese. 1/2 cup sauerkraut. 1/4 cup Russian dressing. 1/4 cup butter, melted. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Warm up the grill over medium-high heat. Shape the ground beef into 4 burger patties that are all the same size. Add pepper and salt. Put the burger patties on the grill and cook them for four to five minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until they're done the way you like them. Put a slice of Swiss cheese on top of each patty to melt in the last minute of cooking. Spread melted butter on one side of each slice of rye bread while the burgers are cooking. Place the rye bread slices on the grill with the buttered side facing down. Toast them until they are just beginning to turn brown. Spread Russian dressing on the toasted side of each rye bread slice before putting the burgers together. Grill a burger patty and put it on the bottom slice of rye bread. Add sauerkraut on top of the patty and then dress the top slice of rye bread. Enjoy while hot!
