need a fic where cas, dean, and sam are all the badasses they actually are.
the mischaracterization of all of them needs to be brought up cuz HOLY FUCK.
cas is an angel of the lord. a former commander. he is a badass angel. he doesnt just get thrown around in fights (later the writers made him some spacey man-baby weak angel that pisses me off) he is AWESOME.
hot take: dean is a switch in cas and deans relationship because the internalized homophobia tells him that in sexual relationships he needs to lead (with women hes totally in the lead, except with rhonda hurely) so no he's not always some nice guy. hes a little rough around the edges and sometimes hes so childish it comes off as annoying. he's a hunter. raised as a soldier. BLUNT AF.
sam is smart. so fucking smart. a little sneaky. i cant even begin to unpack his character cuz i'd be writing a full page essay.
