Liza's 3A was a big moment for me. Her 3A's were dead perfect. I'm so glad she has it back now. Just fingers crossed it stays back for this next season!
I appreciate that 3A even more now than I did then. Like at the time I got that it was a big deal and thought it looked good, but having since then watched other 3As and gained a better understanding of what makes a good jump damn Liza’s is phenomenal.

@janeykath318 Yes, only 2 substitutions per team. So it means that two of the disciplines will need to be done by the same skaters.

Yep! Unfortunately, decisions have to be made. It also takes into consideration that Pairs and Men start first, so their events will be closer together.

It’s just Dave Lease being a little prick. Also people on skating forums with differing motivations. It’s obvious to anyone who is actually watching (and not trying to further some different kind of agenda) that WP are continuing to fight hard.
Oh, I know. it’s a narrative that fits the story some people want to tell, so they’re running with it. It’s just so contradictory to what they’re actually doing that it’s kind of bizarre.
And yet people will continue to believe it.
In relation to Wang/Wang, I really noticed during the Team Challenge Cup red carpet that they were very warm to each other and appear to be a good team unit. They look like they very much enjoy skating together. With Sui/Han out for the GP series, I think Wang/Wang will bring the touch of humanity to Chinese pairs skating. The other new teams will probably be quite cold. Although I do wonder if Cheng Peng might prefer skating with Yang Jin....
It’s not confirmed that Sui/Han will miss the GP, but given that Wenjing won’t be back on the ice until September, it’s very likely.
I think Wang/Wang have good chemistry despite their age difference, and I like the way Lei helps to show off Xuehan’s best qualities. She’s very expressive and brings a lot of life to their performances. I hope they’ll do well on the GP next season. :)
Given time, Peng/Jin might be able to develop…something. They’re close in age and there will be less pressure on them to do well. But I doubt that they will receive much support from the federation. The fed has made it clear that Yu/Zhang are their priority.
Good luck them keeping a secret at the rink in Montreal! I think that everyone would be gossiping. Particularly if P/C are about to be usurped from the number 1 position. That's major rink politics right there.
True, this would be huge news with ramifications for everyone. I was so sure they weren’t coming back but that video has really made me wonder. With David Wilson there too maybe they’re thinking of staying in Toronto with Marie-France in a consulting role rather than as an on-site coach?
