Today me and #SWNE did 4 assemblies for a Pre-K through 8th grade school outside of Chicago. It reaffirms my sense that there is so much good in the younger generation and it's up to us to be awesome and demonstrate how to be big people with open hearts and fearless integrity. If we shoot for the stars we might hit the moon anyway. I took questions after each presentation and here are a few samples from each age group. 6-8th (pictured here): "How's your insta- game?" Me: "Strong to very strong" 4th-5th: "How did cookie dough get named cookie dough" Cookie: "I was neck deep in a pint of cookie dough ice cream and Stephen gave me the nick name" 1st-3rd: "how long have you guys been a band?" Me: "a little under 2 months but we've been friends a long time and that's kind of what's most important." PreK-K: "I'm gonna have a baby sister." Me: "Really? That's a great question!"
