whispers of the night; Jaebum & Jiyeon
Jaebum wore a silly grin on his face as the woman across from him ran her hand down the outline of his jaw. He liked the way her hands slid along the course of his skin; it gave him shivers and goosebumps despite the fact that his veins coursed with ice-cold blood. Vampire's blood. And normally he wouldn't have stopped anyone from seducing him - if they wanted him to sleep with them; all they need do was ask. But today was different, it didn't feel right. Was it because of the case that he had just lost? Or was it something; no - someone else? One face slipped into his mind and rooted itself there, and he found himself distracted from reality. Jiyeon. It seemed so impossible but yet so true - he really did love Jiyeon.
The woman's face turned from one of seductiveness into one of shock as Jaebum removed her hands from his face. "안대…. not tonight." he spoke softly as she walked away. She certainly would never call him - but he strangely enough, he didn't care. Jiyeon had ruined his night in a bittersweet way indirectly - and he would never know why he had acted the way that he did. Refusing a woman? He wasn't his usual self. He sighed loudly and yelled at the bartender to pour him fifteen shots of the strongest alcohol he had. And before long, Jaebum smacked fifteen empty shot glasses face down on the counter.
"Check please."

The vampire stumbled forward, slipping at the slightest movements and tripping over little pebbles that covered the road. "Jiyeon-ah." he said in a drunken stupor. He tumbled forward a few paces before his voice rang through the air again. "Jiyeon-ah!" he shouted now, a little bit louder than last time. Before long, he had managed to drag himself to her front door in his inebriated state. "Ji-" he paused, feeling something gurgling in his throat. "Jiyeon-ah!" he managed one last time before he slipped on a wet stone that had been oh so conveniently placed in front of her home. He felt his head smack against the door, and his vision blur.
Then black.
