so i’m guessing you saw boba fett’s robo-limbs... that’s a good question isn’t it? LOL. let me explain his storyline (i’ll get to the limbs towards the end)
it’s pretty simple actually; boba fett in this timeline had the whole thing with wife kids etc. BEFORE being eaten by the sarlac. inside of it, he was put into a sort of biological time-pod cryostasis like state for many years. A wealthy entrepreneur and collector paid bounty hunters to follow the rumor of the famed sarlacc that ate him, killing and emptying it out to find him- which they did.
for some odd years after being brought back from the sarlac, boba fett returned to bounty hunting despite his chronal disorientation working off his debt to the rich collector before up and vanishing into the far outer rim doing his own work in secret not wanting to build infamy again. However, one day he catches wind of a baker whose goods were good enough that even bounty hunters were raving about it so naturally he ordered some.
it’s on the sillier side but it leads to gelson (one of the main characters) delivering to him and being shocked to find BOBA FETT is not only REAL but STILL ALIVE! he’s so shocked he doesn’t notice boba fett hitching a ride on his ship when he finds out he’s part of the rebellion- a group boba fett wants to meet himself. Hitching a ride, he’s brought to the rebel camp where he meets the council and signs on to help them in exchange for a safe hidden place to live and tons of gelson’s baked goods when he wants.
One day however boba fett suddenly collapses, and after a trip to their in camp doctor they find that the stasis he’d been in wasn’t stable enough and his body was experiencing sudden rapid cellular decay in his limbs. in order to save his life and stop the spread of the decay, the doctors rush to amputate his limbs. this results in him being completely incapacitate for a while. this is how he meets a fat biker twilek droid mechanic named Al who basically is also a droid rancher and prosthetic specialist.
Al takes care of boba fett for a long time, at first both of them unwillingly but they end up bonding and becoming very close. After a while boba fett meets his supermodel twin brother ‘Fortitude’ (chosen stage name) who has a medical specialist team that excels in limbs that feel and look like the real thing, but boba fett decides to customize his instead resulting in limbs that look like his mado armor. A lot happens around him and Al with his limbs and coming to terms with losing so much so fast but that’s too much to type for now LOL hope this helps!
TLDR; the cryostasis of the sarlac he was in wasn’t proper, his limbs rotted and needed amputation so he got cool prosthetics
Instead of our monthly slam, this weekend we will be competing in a regional poetry slam in Laredo, Texas. Southwest Shootout is going to be an intense battle between 10 slam teams from across this side of the great United States. Finally made a ref sheet of my Kaleesh general working with the rebellion on their Council in my and @pastrytown‘s star wars AU, space opera! He’s an old battleworn man but he’s very enthusiastic, loves sparring and brawling, as well as teaching ‘ruffians’ lessons (both if they misbehave or as a fight teacher)!
He can be a little rough on people but he’s a nice guy at heart who just happens to also know thousands of ways to kick someone’s butt :P

Mogo is a chimera zabrak being half dathomirian half iridonian, thus the two tones! He's also a dark side user but also training as a jedi because in my shared starwars AU Space opera, the jedi are changing to include all forms of the force rather than just the light, and redefine sith as those using the force for evil whether they’re light or dark side. The dark side is being recognized as not inherently evil slowly but surely, and the light recognized for being able to be recklessly evil in its own ways (chaos vs order; too much of either is bad basically)
Mogo's great grandfather is darth maul due to maul being careless and sleeping around (so kind of an unclaimed family line there), which resulted in his grandfather who wanted to follow maul's lead in the dark side/his cruel ways. His father however rejected it vehemently, wanting to change and be good. While the previous two has no force ability and fought with one another to the point his father killed his grand father, Mogo was born with the force- the dark side of it from maul.
His father became afraid of him because it was clear who he’d gotten his abilities from, and his mother was equally fearful/manipulated to listen to her husband. As a result his parents abandoned him at 5 years old by a fountain in a busy rainy square when he showed 'signs of maul/the sith' before he was found and adopted by my jedi master Jirai Augoma.
From there he was trained as a jedi, but his new adoptive jedi fathers recognized he was one with the darkside and not the light. seeking to raise him to be good despite this and believing in love/forgoing the old order rules, Jirai become closely attached. His other father Winslow however still followed the old ways and tried to keep distant (miserably failing at it however) until he became distrustful of mogo, having a vision he’d bring horrors and evil.
an unfortunate series of events lead mogo to run away due to the manipulation of the new sith lord, Emperor Null who trained him as a sith- thus his fall from the Jedi. However, as he grew older, Mogo began to hate what he’d become more than anything and is on the path to redemption. having returned to his old home, he’s faced many trials and errors while learning to try and accept that who he is isn’t inherently evil and that he can still learn to do good despite his mistakes.
The light saber pictured is his redemption saber, a dual saber using two crystals- his original jedi crystal (the purple) and his purified bled out sith crystal (the gold). It represents his past/present/future, suffering and triumph as well as his balance of learning and coming to acceptance.
there’s a BUTTLOAD of story this is summarizing because it’s a LOT but the gist is he’s a dark sider, cocky, very stubborn but also regretful and wanting to be better. and he’s gay, goth and trans YEEHAW!
Another OC Ref sheet for my shared star wars AU Space Opera; This is Slayer (real name Dex Otun) a mandalorian assassin/hunter who is selectively mute, mostly blind and deaf (he uses sign language). He's also a gourmet chef with a heighted sense of smell/taste!

Slayer was adopted into another clan called the Drouna clan because of a terrible mistake he made in the past that took most of his ability to speak away (though he’s always been mostly deaf/blind since birth).
When the empire was invading his clan he’d set up an explosive trap for them to take out a massive number of the enemy, but nearly half their clan got taken hostage and was in the line of fire. He’d unfortunately been lead to believe it was only a few members, so blinded by his desire to take down the enemy and unaware of the stakes he set it off only to find too late that he’d gravely misjudged how many were taken out. He’d also assumed the blast would take him out, but he survived with many scars on his body. The blast however isn’t what damaged his throat-
instead, the captain of the imperial invasion dragged herself out of the wreckage with a broken executioner’s laser axe. While the weapon burned him badly and sealed his airway partially, his clanmates quickly arrived on scene to rescue survivors and kill remaining enemies rushing him to emergency care.
After recovering, Slayer was exiled by the clan (partially by his own choice) and gratefully taken in by the drounas to learn different lifestyles including gardening, communal living/family, and a new mission to restore life rather than take it as the drouna clan’s goal is to restore the ecosystems of mandalore in any way they can.
Slayer is very energetic and friendly, loves people, cooking, hunting, and gardening on top of telling stories. He can be very hard on himself but is generally a happier/nice guy. People who know his backstory can be wary of him but otherwise he’s working a personal path to redeem himself.
