I usually played pure light side or dark side but you could also give Jadus codes and sabotage his ship which results in capturing him but also many casualties because of Eradicator. It's more realistic way of defeating him as the non force user.
I love how much choice gives you imperial agent storyline, definitely top three if not the best of my favorite stories in swtor...
this was meant to be a post about my SWTOR chiss smuggler and former navigator, cil'voe. now it is a post on chiss sky-walkers/navigators. if you are interested to know that the CEDF's best kept secret is that little girls manually pilot all of their ships through hyperspace, read on.
now what exactly IS a sky-walker? not the guy you're thinking of. NO not that guy either. what they are is actually a huge state secret. as in, the higher ranking chiss civil and military officials know about them, and NO ONE ELSE. they are in my opinion one of the ascendancy's BIGGEST secrets.
essentially, a sky-walker is a force sensitive chiss child (usually a girl, but not always!) BUT their abilities are limited to "third sight" which is basically just precognition. they can't do other things with the force. chiss as a whole are not very force-sensitive, and sky-walker's powers almost always start young and then fade in their mid-teens. some of them retain a touch of their force sensitivity and enhanced reaction times that come with foresight, but that's IT.
and what does the chiss empire use these little girls for, you may ask? to pilot their ships, of course!
sky-walkers are taken from their families young and they have their memories supressed or wiped (the technology is imperfect in SWTOR, I would imagine) and are brought into the CEDF to fly ships. Csilla and the surrounding territories are in a VERY weird place, where a lot of gravitational anomolies move around. which is bad for trying to calculate hyperspace jumps, because they will tear your ship apart. the solution: little girls with force precognition pilot through hyperspace manually!
if it works, it works.
and of course, as this is all a secret, most people serving on said ships aren't told. the bridge crews will know by necessity, as will pilots who work very closely with them, and officers. that's it.
but obviously a little girl on the ship is very out of place, so how is this explained? well, that's the captain's daughter obviously. (actual, in-universe excuse by the way). although I imagine being related to any officer would work just as well.
OH, and before I forget, there is one other person on the ship who knows the sky-walkers identity: their caregiver. it's traditional for caregivers to be former sky-walkers who aged out of the program, hence cutting off the potential for an information leak. I assume this is how it still works in SWTOR. (It's a much rarer occurance several thousand years later when we have vader and palpatine's empire.)
culturally, navigators have different naming conventions. there is no family name, as they're culturally considered to belong to the entirety of the Chiss collective -- the same as high ranking CEDF officials. This way, higher ups can theoretically avoid the power struggles of the ruling families and aristocra by simply not being a part of it. this means they have two names instead of three (example: che'ri, vah'nya)
(when sky-walkers lose their sensitivity and retire, ruling families snatched them up as merit-adoptives, it's very prestigous for them.)
so basically it goes like this: a sky-walker has precognition, they're taken from their family and they're shipped out to the Seekers Program (aka, sky-walker training -- which our one example for is Ardok Ranch. an actual ranch, nice, homey, with a small training site hidden elsewhere on the ranch. BUT don't less this fool you, this is where they do that memory wipe i mentioned above, specifically to prevent the sky-walkers from leaving the program. can't go back to your family if you don't know them!) before being assigned to a ship.
fun fact: whenever one of the nine ruling families of csilla get a new patriarch, they have to vote on what programs to keep and which to toss, and the sky-walker seeker's program is always voted to be kept UNANIMOUSLY. and these bitches argue a lot is what im saying.
ok final notes. i had to go double check all my sources this morning because in swtor the chiss REALLY hate force sensitivty and that does not change, navigators DO still exist and are actually universally treasured. like if you were to kill a navigator for any reason, including accidentally, that's immediate capital punishment.
so yeah, sky-walkers located and forced into CEDF service which they then often ontinue to serve in as caretakers after the fact because frankly. what else are they going to do? they don't remember anything before their service in the fleet.
and its STILL better than what happens to ever rarer regular force sensitive chiss -- aka being cast out, killed and considered cursed. there are a couple in game, but they're pretty rare, and universally the chiss are NOT happy about them.
After a successful espionage mission and a grandiose escape, Rue and Kaaydan "wind off" on the way back to the nearest spaceport..

8 ATC | XS Freighter, Captain's Quarters.
...
The mission was a success and it had been accordingly celebrated in the quarters. The Agent and the Captain shared the same bed, bare against each other, while waiting for the ship to reach their destination. The Captain was already resting, Rue thought about doing so as well but curiosity wouldn't let her. Last time they shared a bed, he was only a scoundrel she needed to seduce to accomplish a mission but now.. felt different. Working together had allowed them to discover each other, desire each other and this time for who they truly are. Rue was caressing some features of his, letting herself wonder with never-ending questions. She mindlessly started tracing over one of his facial scars with her fingers, following its course from his eyebrow to his lips.
Unable to contain her curiosity she finally spoke it out. "So, are you gonna tell me how you really got these?"
Kaaydan, who wasn't really sleeping to begin with, slowly opened his eyes, visibly amused by the question. "My scars? I've already told you."
His audacity made Rue laugh "Don't be ridiculous, a Rancor?"
"No.. You told me the story you tell pretty girls you want in your bed" The Chiss woman got closer to him "I want the real story."
Kaaydan really did find her fascinating, he couldn't believe that he was actually considering telling her the truth.
"It's really not an exciting story." He said, still not entirely sure about telling her.
"Today was exciting enough.. I just want to know more about you, Kaaydan." Rue said, making herself comfortable again and resting her head on his shoulder.
Kaaydan looked at the ceiling, thinking about the decision he was about to make and then, he let out a long sigh. "Alright, here goes nothing."
He could feel her lovely gaze onto him but he kept staring into the void, otherwise he wouldn't be able to tell this story.
"Back when I still lived on Nar Shaddaa I.. had problems with spice."
"It got to the point where my credits couldn't keep up and the withdrawal symptoms made me do something really stupid."
He finally looked at her, a grin with hints of shame on his face and said...
"I tried to steal spice."
Both were silent for a few seconds, the look on her face spoke for her. The word resonated in her mind ''tried..''
"They caught me, obviously." He confirmed.
"They nearly beat me to death, I really thought they were gonna kill me."
"Until they stopped but not out of mercy.. they stopped because their boss had arrived and let's say he wasn't too thrilled with the situation."
Rue softly squeezed Kaaydan's arm, as she knew the story wasn't going to end well.
"Killing me would've been too easy. No.. he wanted to give me a lesson." He really tried to keep it cool but the slight tremble in his voice proved otherwise.
"He asked his men to hold me while he pulled out a vibroknife out of his sheath.."
"And he did this." Kaaydan said as he pointed the two cuts accross his face.
There was a silence.
Rue held him, in a way that almost felt like a hug, she looked at him in the eyes and she said "You didn't deserve that."
He huffed a laugh, he couldn't truly believe her words but he appreciated the thought behind them.
Kaaydan needed to escape the seriousness of this conversation, so he said "Well, at least I look hot with those scars."
This phrase being the conclusion to his confession made Rue giggle, he really could be an idiot sometimes, she thought.
"..and they give me something fun to lie about. You gotta admit, a Rancor would've been cool." He said jokingly.
His wording aroused the woman's curiosity further more.
"Do you really always lie about them?"
The look on her face gave it away that she was plotting something, Kaaydan just didn't know what exactly yet.
"Yeah, why not? It's not like I'm seeing the person who asked again." He said warily, unsure of where this was going.
"So what you're saying is that you wish to see me again." She said seductively while moving up to him.
He looked so confused but Rue could tell the sudden closure had an effect on him.
"What? I didn't-"
"You wouldn't have told me the truth if you didn't know we'd cross paths again.." said the Chiss woman with a proud expression on her face.
Kaaydan exhaled a smile when he finally realized. She was trying to destabilize him, trying to bring out his weakness for her but he couldn't let her win, not yet.
"And what if I've just been lying to you this whole time?"
As the smuggler was trying to save himself Rue was getting closer and closer to his face. It was a matter of time before he fell.
"What if I'm lying right now?" He tried to fight it off but the longing in his eyes betrayed him.
The woman was now only a few centimeters from him and said "I don't think you are."
Rue at last pressed her lips against his, leading Kaaydan to close his eyes and kiss her back profoundly. Her satisfied grin slowly faded as she savoured the moment.

They eventually fell asleep to the engines' soothing hum. It felt like the galaxy had pierced thought the ship and instilled its stillness inside. Everything felt so quiet, as if time itself had stopped for them. For a moment, it was just them, the sounds of engines and the nothingness of the galaxy.
