Rayen was still getting used her new life now, as it took a drastic turn. And she was adapting quite well, everything interested her, sometimes it got overwhelming but Tyler was by her side at all times. Like tonight, at the political event his family organized, and even though politics weren't her forte, Rayen put on her best smile, wore a gorgeous custom made purple dress and spoke to quite a lot of people there. It looked like they were all curious to meet her, share a few words, which she figured was because the news of Tyler finding his mate, and him preparing to take over his fathers place, was known.

Her gaze often traveled towards Tyler, knowing where he was at the given moment calmed her nerves. And damn did he look good all cleaned up... It was so distracting, and it seemed like this feeling of attraction towards him will never vanish. If anything it only got stronger. And as if he could read her mind, Tyler was by her side, whispering in her ear and taking her hand. Her fingers squeezed at his and without a said word, she just smirked at him and followed his lead. Before she knew it, they were in the dark conference room, door closed, and his lips on hers. Rayen responded to the kiss immediately, even moaning right away, her hands cupping his face and pulling him close to her. "Mm, thank you, baby... You look very dashing yourself."Rayen let out in a slightly heavier breath between kisses, gasping as he lifted her up with ease which made her arms wrap around his broad shoulders. A desperate moan parted her lips at his confession, she needed him just as much, it was insane how fast her judgment would get clouded and her primal instincts would take over. "I don't know - let's find out."the omega murmured, for someone who was very vocal, even more so thanks to Tyler who encouraged it, it'd be a challenge. This wasn't the privacy of their home, a lot of important people were here, his family... but god she didn't care right now, she just needed him like she needed air.

a chuckle fell from the male as he let his arms wrap around her, grinning at her words. ❝ at some point she's gonna catch on, or at least notice that you're not there when she wakes up in the middle of the night. ❞ rian laughed, though really he didn't care if she found out, knowing it wouldn't change anything between the two of them. his own hips had rocked against her body, knowing exactly what she was doing by moving back against him. ❝ think you're gonna be able to stay quiet tonight? ❞

Rayen felt absolutely sick to her stomach. Everything inside of her ached and her thoughts rushed a hundred miles per hour. While Tyler was away on some pack business, Rayen spent the day at his parents estate, she enjoyed being around his siblings that still lived here and she wanted to connect to them better as they were her family now as well. But as she was about to leave, the clock showing Tyler would be home soon, she overheard the conversation of his parents. How they were so pleased Rayen was the one, would be a bummer to have kidnapped the girl and not turn to be their sons mate. Rayen faced him, absolutely shocked and appalled by their actions, she started to remember... it didn't matter until this moment how she ended up with Tyler, she loved him to the very last atom of her being. But this realization struck her like a tree.

Before they could reason with her, Rayen left the property and didn't take her car, instead she ran. She ran deep into the woods until her feet started to give in and just sat down under the old tree, crying and thinking of that day she was taken. Rayen knew Tyler would find her at one point, it wasn't too long before she picked up the familiar scent. She couldn't get up but finally saw him in her view, she looked broken and drained. "Did you know?"she finally spoke up. "Did you know how I ended up in that cabin with you?"

"Don't do that, let me hear you," Nic coaxed as he watched his reflection reach up and thumb her lower lip free of her teeth." You can be as loud as you want tonight, remember? It's just us in the house." Nic's toddler son was away with Nic's ex-wife for the weekend, so there wasn't any chance of a disturbance or of her being too loud, but Nic liked the way she automatically took pains not to disturb the other usual occupant of the house. Truthfully, that was something that had drawn Nic to her, and now Nic got to show her just how much he liked her and what good care he'd take of her. With the pair of them in front of the mirror, Nic's other hand dipped between her legs, rubbing along her slit to check how wet she was as he kissed at her neck.

Mad wasn't a strong enough word. Furious. Raging. Incensed. Those were more fitting to describe how Korey was feeling. For as long as she could remember, there had been a pit of rage in her stomach, and it was threatening to boil over as she watched the two men making their deal. She hadn't even recognized her own father when he'd first barged into her cute little bakery. After all, she'd only ever seen a photo here and there of him. Her mother didn't like to share information with her. She seemed to think that it was better to keep her sheltered. 'Safe from him', she'd always said. And for once, she thought that maybe her mother was right. To go from introducing himself to his daughter for the first time to threatening her and dragging her off to offer her up to some stranger? For once, she wished she was still ignorant. She couldn't even look at the man as he exited. What kind of person would do something so evil? And why was did she still have enough empathy for him not to run and leave him to the wolves? She hated herself for that just as much as she hated him...but not as much as the man she'd been left alone with. Still trembling with anger, Korey stood after a long few moments of silence. "I will stay here, but if you come within arm's length of me, I will gouge your eyes out, rip your balls off, and shove them in the empty sockets. I swear to fucking god I will."
