FUCK THE WRITING. THEY SCREWED THE POOCH SO BAAAAADDDD. it was such a great show and, like all great shows, they got too big for their britches and fucked everything up.

in my opinion, seasons 1 and 2 are the only ones worth watching. >.> and that’s only PARTIALLY because of my love for a particular character who they dropped like a ton of bricks ( as they did with ALL the amazing secondary characters those assholes made me care for and then abandoned ). then everything went to complete and utter shit.

i gave up looooonnnggg before that. i did a lot of skipping around ( watched the frozen arc, didn’t do queens of darkness and watched a good chunk of season 5 ), then completely abandoned ship after ruby lucas’ last episode. i’m glad they went with a LGBT ship, but as a frankenwolf shipper who was promised the ship in, like, seasons 2, i’m bitter AFFFFF. especially because the ruby slippers/dorothy and ruby ship was so painfully under-developed, ooc and shoved down our throats. AND, as predicted, we never see ruby again, so. :| BITTER FOREVERRRRRRRR.

The kid sticks out like a sore thumb, at least to him. Maybe Cullen and any other Templar straggler that had joined the Inquisition could spot him too. It's all in the hood. Which, you know, to any other untrained eye looked as if it was just another over sized hood. Not to Samson. That Brotherhood he's sure the boy is part of has been opposing the Templar order almost as long as the orders been around.

Which is a damn long time.

Yet Samson figures he's betting on the Brotherhood's obscurity to keep his roots anonymous. 

Hide in plain sight. 

He has to give the assassin that, ballsy almost. Even more as he's staring the younger man down across the tavern. Currently sitting with his back against the wall, second level of the Inquisition's own local pub. The bard's lyrics float up to him, muffled a bit by the fireplace in the middle of the structure. Which is fine with him. Sitting in peace and quiet these days he's found to like very much.

All the same his interest is piqued for once. Instead of him being the novelty it's the assassin who's become one to him. But fuck if he was going to get up and approach the kid. Samson would make it apparent he was watching the other, catch the kid's eye and motion him to have a seat across from him. The spot his foot was once propped up on. A power play to get him to come to him. If it didn't work, then it didn't work. He was interested in talking to someone who opposed the order he was once part of, hated now. But not that pressed to get off his ass.
