It's so funny to imagine The Groundskeeper with two different accents.
On the one hand when he's calm, he speaks in a nice gruff yet slightly echoing southern accent towards the player as they cross each other.
"Howdy there. Do me a favor an' keep to the path? Try not to go steppin’ on the grass. This’ll be the only time I say it. Much obliged."
...And then later on in a few rooms down after saving you fron a couple mandrakes, you can hear him grumble in a rather annoyed tone followed by a even gruffer scottish accent before he heads into the outhouse.
"Bloody mandrakes... Ah swear tae hell, if Ah hear them screechin’ one mair time..."
It's certainly something to hear two different accents from the same man (or entity), but its also impressive.
