@parktaesun and @yoohwannie nominated me to do the challenge.
It would be nice if everyone will be aware of the Lou Gehrig disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)—also referred to as motor neurone disease (MND), Charcot disease. It is a neurodegenerative disease with various causes, characterised by muscle spasticity, rapidly progressive weakness due to muscle atrophy, difficulty in speaking (dysarthria), swallowing (dysphagia), and breathing (dyspnea). Although the life expectancy of an ALS patient averages about two to five years from the time of diagnosis, this disease is variable and many people live with quality for five years and more. More than half of all patients live more than three years after diagnosis.
Because I was tagged twice, I will do the challenge twice, besides donating $1,000 USD (approximately 1,000,000 KRW) from my own earnings—lest some detractors accuse me of using the people's money. I'm also tagging @sxngmiyoung, @hanjinseo, @jungjaehyun, and @linraemi to do this.
To donate to the cause, go to alsa.org/donate for more information.
