Hey MM! For the time being I think I should drop Augustine until I have the time for more than one muse. In other news Dante has a fresh face! And a clean slate! (Considering most of my partners are long gone. :') ) Glad to be back! <3

M&M?  Is that ‘cos I’m so sweet?  Aww, you shouldn’t have.  But what isn’t sweet is your letting Augustine go!  I understand your reasons, though, so it’s all right with me.  Thanks for playing him as long as you did!  Dante is lookin’ good, too.  Welcome back.

Heya! I'd like to throw a reserve on a Teacher ♂ trainer class! Also Augustine returned to his lab today after a long trek to other regions, he now confirms that a Magikarp's splash in Kanto does not create a tsunami in Kalos. Edward Lorenz be dammed.

Well, I’m certainly glad that Professor Sycamore has tested that hypothesis! Now I can rest easy at night knowing that I won’t be swept away by a Magikarp-based wave of immense size. 

I’ve also gone ahead and placed your Teacher ♂ on reserve for you! You’ve got until November 14th for them to show up! Hope they’re excited to help a new wave of children.

Business Agreements || Sycamore & Lysandre

Fine red wine and bread made good any meeting of business, at least when such a meeting carefully toed the line betwixt the casual and the professional. Despite his status and his appearance, it was these kinds of meetings Lysandre preferred; professional still, but the leeway for a friendship to be made. After all, what was a good business partner without being a friend? Just another corporate figurehead – and he did not want that.

Before him sat a man who looked a bit out of his element; fashionably dressed (as most Kalosians were) and legs crossed one over the other, he seemed to be clutching onto the edge of his seat and wanting to jump right into some kind of action. The smile he wore came easy, however, as Lysandre's did – something bright and touching into the soul, easing the little pains of being. It was the kind of smile that could melt hearts or warm the cold.

“Mr. Sycamore was it?” Lysandre began, holding the glass delicately in his hand and idly swirling the ruby contents. “You wanted to speak to me about a business proposition – a partnership? Needless to say that I am interested, but in good sense I have to insist that you tell me more.” Good sense or not, gut feelings told him that Augustine would be bringing something interesting with him; or maybe he was simply charmed by the wide-eyed passion, the feeling of energy. Contrary to the beliefs of many of the other upper-class, Lysandre stuck strongly to the ideas of energy and the belief that there were people fated to meet – be as friends or whatever else.

Couldn't it be said that many great pairings in history were fate? Couldn't it be said that following a good feeling, a charm of good luck would bring many things, whether you believed in their metaphysical power or not? They gave the confidence to walk forth in the sun, head lifted high...and currently, the red-haired Kalosian had many good feelings.

Of course, he was also young – both of them were – and naive to certain shades which dwelt in the hearts of man. Perhaps his youth made him far too easily swayed to believe in only the good things – perhaps it doesn't matter, for all the future would hold.

“And please, help yourself to whatever you would like. And call me whatever you would like as well – I hardly want to frighten you away. Excessive formalities can do that, I'm afraid.”
