honestly, Dave is probably the most altered character in this AU, I reinvented him completely because I know nothing about OG Gilmour's teenage/young adult life except for a smaaaaaaaall bit of information

so, the main story starts in 2005, when Syd moves to London for studying, and in that point of time David is nineteen, however, he only briefly appears in the story before 2008, when he joins the band. yeah but a big portion of the story is a flashback to when Roger moved and Syd wasn't there and David does appear there but that's a completely different topic for a completely different day.

he is a florist as his main job and a session musician on the side. and now the complete and utter fiction starts: in this AU he dropped out of college because of an impulsive decision and never got accepted back because the principal was mad at him for that so he had to learn nearly everything he knows now himself, and he had to find a job, and honestly, in that period of his life he didn't die thanks to his fellow hippie friends, where were his parents you might ask? I have absolutely no fucking idea I didn't think of that. that's all you might need to know for now.
