Brina (whose appearance is not at all inspired by my fixation with Shin Hati, I assure you) and Sylgja got married. I made sure to dress for the occasion, and Sylgja showed up in her work clothes with her pickaxe on her hip like the beefcake she is. No complaints here, why do you think I married her?

In all seriousness, I absolutely love Sylgja. Best girl, period. Besides being a fucking hunk, her quest is so sweet and I honestly adore her house. Plus I love that her parents are characters, it makes your little family feel so much bigger. That's them in the back row.

Anneke being a follower is great too. Your children can have Grandma come visit, or you can make her the steward of a Hearthfire house and she'll just live there. I love them both <3

Anyway this raises a serious question. Y'all remember all those Reddit wedding fail stories where one of the couple's mothers would wear white or wear a wedding dress to the ceremony to upstage the bride? Does this apply here? Anneke and Sylgja are just in work clothes, but they're the same work clothes.

And truthfully, I could do without the resting bitch face from Anneke lol. I go out of my way to earn this woman's approval before courting her daughter, I take her adventuring with me and give her free enchanted armor and dwarven weapons, and she repays me by wearing her best RBF to the wedding. Why do I even try?

A Beautiful Wedding

Sylgja didn’t even take off the pickaxe for our wedding, what a freaking power move XD

Ervindoerttir fussed for 2 days over her own clothes, including a panicked trip to Ramient Ramient all the way across Skyrim. 

When she saw her wife there at the Temple of Mara in her work clothes, her first thought was, “Wow, she’s such a chad.” even if the real reason was that she works long shifts in the mines and probably didn’t have time for anything except walking to Riften and walking back home before a new day of work began XD

i just ran into Sylgja in Shors Stone, and she mentions she was hurt really bad, but a "priest of mara on the way to dawnstar" healed her and OH MY GOSH I LOVE ERANDUR EVEN MORE NOW
