Welcome!
As the URL suggests, I'm going to be running Skyrim themed tournaments here. I've got plenty of tournaments planned, but I'm also accepting suggestions!
I don't plan to include any creation club content in the tournaments, not even the free ones. If there's ever an exception, I'll let you know.

We're down to the semifinals! Isran and Florentius go way back, though they don't seem to have ever gotten along. Isran defeated one of his old friends just last round, while Florentius barely scraped by with under 51% of the vote. Only one will move on to the finals; the other will be left to fight for third place. Who will you vote for?
can we add a best npc archetype/best unnamed npc to the list? I think it would be fun to have like the courier be up against stormcloak soldier or random bandit

The final match of the round! Unlike most of the other matchups this round, these two don't have much in common. There's Sorine, the dwemer scholar and crossbow expert, and Mogrul, the last of the outdoor guards still in the running. Who will you vote for?
There goes the last of the outdoor guards. Sorine wins and moves on to round 3!

It's very possible these were the first two Dawnguard NPCs you ever met! Durak, who points you to the first quest, and Agmaer, who you meet on your first trip to Dayspring Canyon. Being first chronologically doesn't mean they'll be first in this tournament, but at least one of them will be making it to the next round. The only question is which one.
I guess changing Agmaer's armor didn't help his odds after all. Durak wins and moves on to the next round!

I'd hesitate to call either of these two major characters in Dawnguard, but I wouldn't call them minor, either. There's an opportunity here to be the most important of all by winning this tournament, but only one is going to make it past this round for even a chance at that. Who will it be?
This one was close. I'd be surprised if it didn't win the closest match award. Florentius just barely scrapes by into round 3!

Both of them did quite well in round one, but only one can win here. Which one will it be?

Mogrul
Despite being a three-way match, there is, in a sense, only one character here. These three are all exterior guards for Fort Dawnguard, and they share not only much of their routines but also all of their lines. This could be a close match.
Despite these three being almost identical, there is a clear winner here. RIP Ollrod. And Tilde, but at least she went out with dignity. Mogrul moves on to round two!

Sorine Jurard
Beleval is a Dawnguard recruit, and the only elf in the faction (unless you the player are an elf). She's a possible follower, and in fact the only female Bosmer follower in Skyrim.
Sorine Jurard is an old friend of Gunmar, Isran, and Florentius. If you side with the Dawnguard, you're sent to recruit her personally. She studies ancient Dwemer technology, and is a specialist in crossbows.
Another sweep! Sorine moves on to round two.

Armor
I noticed some reblogs on his round one match pointing out that showing him in plain clothes might be hurting his odds. I used that image because it's the main one on his UESP article, but there is an image of him in armor as well, and it's a fair point. This is a Dawnguard tournament, so putting him in Dawnguard armor instead of his initial clothes is reasonable. What do you think?
