I am a sylph-kin (air elemental/fae-kin) My blog is earthboundsylph. I'm very very new to being otherkin and would like to meet other fae-kin or really any otherkin! I'm very friendly and I plan to take requests for kin aesthetics and the like in the not so future!

I seem to be experiencing a degree of depression today and I think this time, bizarre though it may seem, it's been triggered by difficult adjusting to be Fae (specifically Autumn/Winter though not sure if I was ever part of the Courts. The me that is fae is definitely a sylph so maybe just an elemental more than aligned) and not knowing how much of that is seperable from my 'human self' so to speak. Any thoughts etc much appreciated. Thank you. :)

I’m not exactly sure what you mean by “separate” from your human self. If you are a sylph, then isn’t that just what you are? I would assume that your human characteristics would be more of an addition to the fae part of you, rather than a separate being. However, I also realize that every person is different and that my experience may not be the same as yours. Ultimately, I think this is something that only you can figure out for yourself, though I’ll gladly support you through it (as I’m sure the rest of the otherkin community will also).

hey fellow sylphkin!!!!! if you miss flying as much as I do, u should totes watch this music video! its a good song AND it made me feel so at home.
