My progression as a Marauders fan in 2023:

Beginning:

•Mainly read ATYD and one shots

•Favourite ship =wolfstar

•Not really present on tumblr

•obsessed but a healthy amount (sort of)

End:

•read 9 biggish fics this year, including Crimson rivers, sweater weather and tcoptp

•Favourite ship= jegulus (and wolfstar ofc)

•chronically on tumblr, even posts own headcanons

•unhealthily obsessed (it's almost all consuming, brain rot)

•listens to David Bowie religiously

•created own OC that is the embodiment of my ideal woman

•is currently refusing to read any angst as I'm still trying to recover from Crimson Rivers (it's been like 3 weeks)

•have a long list of marauders characters that I Kin

Last song: IDK How To Talk To Girls by Beth McCarthy. My friend introduced me to this song recently and honestly I relate to it abit much lmao

Favourite colour: I really like subtle blues, like the sea, the sky early in the morning or just before sunset, calming blues aha

Last film/show: Tangled, I tried to fall asleep to it last night + rapunzel is my favourite Disney princess. TV show wise, I'm on the last season of How I Met Your Mother, I've watched it an ungodly amount of times

Sweet/savoury/spicy: I'm a sweet then "I need something savoury now" type of person. I always go for the sweet stuff first though!

Last thing I googled: how to say "I love you more" in italian

Last book: the last book I finished was Dead Poets Society (I read it on December 15th in one sitting because it was December 15th) but currently reading A Picture of Dorian Gray

Relationship status: i be very muchly single

Current obsession: the marauders ofc (current and constant) I actually can't think of anything else because my brain has been shared by uni work and the marauders for months now lmao

Looking forward to: Seeing the Wasia Project in February with my friend. We are making a weekend out of it, it's gonna be amazing I'm so excited!!

I'm starting to really realize my self-esteem still sucks really bad.

I'm working on it! And this isn't like a "feel bad for me" post or looking for anything just. It hit me like a train this morning while i was thinking about a girl I'm kinda seeing, I realized I still feel like I'm not? Good enough? Pretty enough? Have nothing to offer?

Obviously I know most of those things aren't true, my RATIONAL brain knows that l. My rational brain is AWARE i am actually pretty cool. But those thoughts are atill gnawing quietly and sometimes I vent my thoughts out loud when I'm driving and I really just kinda made that realization. I do still think really poorly of myself.

I have more work to do. I'm getting there. At least I'm at a point where I think I deserve more than just the bare minimum. That alone is a huge step!!! And will be proud of myself when I make steps in the long hard road of learning to love ALL of me.
