My̴ ͏a҉n̷ge̷l͏ || Aiden & Sylvie
Aiden wakes with a start, the momentum of his fear forcing his upper body into a sitting position and his blue orbs moving around quickly, searching for something, or rather, someone. All of this movement was protested by the stinging in his head, a headache or a migraine he wasn’t sure, but he didn’t care, he needed to find Sylvie. He groaned, the pain only getting worse, and when his blurry eyes refocused he could see the bright, large EM waves taking an interest in his sudden start-up. None of this stopped him, the sudden clearness of his vision only made him panic more because he only saw white. A white room, white sheets, white curtains, nothing else. There was no one. He was alone, in a hospital, with searing pain in his head and no full memories as to why he was there. Something about all of this was eerily familiar. Then he remembers something, voices, shouting, emotions, all at once, and it hurts.
Break him in half Sylvie!
She doesn’t want to be with you.
I don’t want to be with Aiden, I want to stay with you.
“No, no no no no no.” He mumbled, his voice starting out small and unrecognizable to the inhuman himself, but then gaining more volume as the pain got worse, “Meg, Jack, no, no, no, Sylvie.” Just as things started to clear up, he noticed something that threw off his shaky thoughts. There was this beeping, something that seemed quiet and distant when he first awoke, but now it was louder and alarmingly fast. Dazed and confused, Aiden started looking around again, but this time it was easy to find the target, a heart monitor. “Stop it.” He said to the machine, annoyed and desperate, wanting quiet, wanting to fully remember, wanting Sylvie. The machine made some glitch-y, un-familiar noises before shutting down, leaving the inhuman to his own heavy, panicked breathing.
