Construction of the Accelerator Building’s $2.2 million synchrocyclotron was completed in 1951. A kind of cyclotron, this “atom smasher” uses a magnetic field to accelerate subatomic particles to high energies. Over 2,000 tons of steel were used for the particle accelerator’s magnet alone.

ok so holy shit we went to Geneva to go to cern and the united Nations building and it was so interesting despite the utter chaos we accidentally caused like going to the wrong hotel and walking in a massive circle and then getting the wrong bus back to (accidentally away from) the airport and crossing the border 12 times in a day but I got to see my beloved synchrocyclotron and stand 100m above the large hadron collider and see what people were studying and coding and how things work and 😭🥺 it was such a good day

Most people would recommend a stud because it's smaller and easier to handle x.x I think you should just do whatever you want as long as you take proper care of it! :3 <3 and good luck!

An infection from moving the ring around would only really happen if A. You are prone to infections. Or B. You're not taking proper care of your piercing. When moving it, clean it as well. I've had 8 facial piercings so far.
I've never really had piercing infections, or even normal infections really. I think my ears have been infected once, a while after I got my first piercings when I was 10 cx I've had 6 more since then and no worries :p
I talked to my piercer and she said to go for the ring, so here's hoping it goes well this time haha
If you use a ring right after piercing it get one that's bigger (not gauge wise but in circumference) to accommodate for the swelling. This should also allow for easier/faster healing.
Yeah apparently rings are better for healing too :s I just don't know. Someone else replied saying get a stud first, I just don't want a repeat of last time with the end of the stud jabbing into my septum all the time. Thanks for the advice bby <3
