Xisuma - Synchronism
Synchronism is a strange movement that looked at art in a musical manner. They generally started with a note, then took colours a third and a fifth up and down from that colour to create "chords" of colour. (I'm not sure how to explain this in simple terms to everyone who doesn't understand music, sorry.) Then they took a cubism-inspired approach, using abstract shapes--typically on a dark background--to emulate the feeling of music. I tried to match the way their shapes formed very abstract figures; the purple triangles intersecting with the blue square are meant to be X's visor, and the curved red triangle is armlike.
