So I realized that whatever Stuff I had set up for my blog to promote myself seems to have vanished into the aether, so I guess it's time for me to do the whole Pinned Post thing. Hello everyone! I'm a vtuber on Twitch who recently also started streaming on Youtube, now that Twitch allows for simulcasting. I primarily stream Final Fantasy and other JRPGs, and as of this year I plan on doing unplanned streams playing Synth Riders and maybe a few other games (assuming I can get certain ducks into a row). I am currently streaming FFXIV, replaying the whole game on a fresh character doing all content at minimum item level (except the Coils, because fuck that).
I'm also a writer, but I've been out of the writing game for a while because Life has been kicking my ass for the past few years, but keep an eye out, for both fanfiction and original work, because I'm working on things and when they're ready for public consumption I will be posting about it here. Other things I will likely post about: The Magnus Arcives, The Magnus Protocol, and other horror podcasts. Baldur's Gate 3. Eventually once I get my shit together (I just moved last year and things are still in boxes), cosplay, dice making and other crafting stuff. Politics. (I'll try to keep that last one to a minimum but fucking Vote you guys, and fact check literally everything you see and hear on social media.) Make sure to follow, like and subscribe! ;D

Tuesdays starting at 7:30 pm
Wednesdays starting t 7:30 pm
Sundays staring at 4:30 pm

After an hour of scuff we're finally going live with some Synth Riders because the community got me to 100 subs in June! We're doing multiplayer with community members!
There will probably also be more scuff it's been a very long time since I last streamed in VR.

One of the VR rhythm games I really enjoy is called Synth Riders, and I played a few songs this weekend including the song they added for April Fool's Day: Flight of the Bumblebees. A hilarious song choice for a rhythm game, so it really fits as an April Fool's joke! But here's the thing, the way it ended up going for me was unintentionally fitting. The way the game works, there are 4 basic options for patterns and you can set the color/pattern of the notes for each: in my case, right hand is red, left hand is blue, pick a hand is green, and both hands at once is gold. The note stripe patterns I picked don't matter, but they're all in black. For the game they decided that Flight of the Bumblebees, with its nearly breakless string of notes, would be entirely a both hands streak. So thanks to my own unrelated choices, the entire song was in bumblebee colors!
The game, as you know it, has changed. If you thought you had mastered what was shown, you’re mistaken. The game’s beat will no longer […]
First time playing Synth Riders with wrist weights today. Only 0.5kg on each arm, but it feels definitely made a difference. My normal playlist is just under an hour of master songs, but today I did maybe half that before my left arm was collapsing.
I have seen discussion on whether wrist weights with VR rhythm games is split on if it is a good or bad thing but so far it seems like it might be productive.
I guess I just need to make a shorter playlist again to do as I build my strength up with the weights.
