A new divide Returning A wake-up from The old spring And I'm feeling very strange now, strange now And it’s feeling like a crack in the self, crack in the self And it’s getting very different now all the time And we’re gonna shout it out of blue, whole and new We saw our fates We’re burning Through space and time With knowledge sings And I'm feeling very strange now, strange now And it’s feeling like a crack in the self, crack in the self And it’s getting very different now all the time And we’re gonna shout it out of blue, whole and new Back to the old land Back to the old land Old land, Old land Old land Old land Old land Old land Old land

Bound By Endogamy - s/t LP - synth-punk from Switzerland
Geneva-based duo Bound By Endogamy delivers a heavy blend of rave, synth-punk, and industrial music. Shlomo Balexert and Kleio Thomaïdes are both prominent figures in the local squat and punk scene, having been involved in numerous projects over the past decade. Following several cassette releases and a remarkable debut 7'' on Lux Records, the band presents a self-titled album that combines raw, growling basslines, crisp analog rhythms, and passionate vocals ranging from breathy to fiercely cutting. On stage, the project consists of drums, a sampler, and vocals. Shlomo handles the drums alongside sharp synthesizers, while Kleio delivers powerful vocals reminiscent of a professional boxer. Expect a fusion of DAF and Kleenex with a hardcore edge. Junktion Rivers was previously released on LUX REC :)
Abomination, Lynks (2024)
On full-length debut Abomination, it’s clear just how much Lynks suited the shorter format of an EP or single; in those snapshot releases they revealed a fleeting and mysterious insight into (what felt like) an ungraspable, multifaceted enigma. A lengthier release, instead of revealing a more complex and intriguing artist, instead shows too much. Much of Abomination is one-dimensional and formulaic, revealing that Lynks’ dichotomies and paradoxes and general schtick aren’t so teeming with guile and nuance but instead pretty goofy.

COLIN POTTER - “I AM YOUR SHADOW”
Colin Potter’s music lies somewhere between gritty, underground minimal synth and the childlike outsider weirdness of figures like Daniel Johnston. “I Am Your Shadow” has a sort of insistent, rushed quality that reminds me a bit of synth-punk, and its rather creepy narrator comes across as equal parts feckless and unnerving. Apparently, this track was first released on a cassette compilation called Insane Music For Insane People. My kind of music!
