The Diapositive love their synthesizers, and show it in their second EP on Tcheaz Records. Lunar bottom is a galactic, robotic and bleepy mid tempo disco jam. Diego Disco navigates into dreamy and ever evolving pads, synth cuts and arpeggios. DJ Steef adds a deep, sexy and arpeggios driven remix of Lunar Bottom.

Borderlands
Boderlands is a new granular synthesizer developed by Chris Carlson. It is designed to allow users to engage with sonic material, breaking free of traditional interaction paradigms such as knobs and sliders.
A mobile version of an audiovisual granular synthesis instrument has been built by Chris Carlson as final project for Music 256a at CCRMA. While the laptop version provides a large canvas and a great deal of RAM for audio files, the iPad's multitouch capabilities offer a much richer interactive experience. Chris extended the instrument to take advantage of these resources and added a social/networking component to allow users to share their "scenes" and download the work of others.
