Do you ever worry about being public about your system?
Sometimes, we've had pretty awful experiences with being open about our system in the past. When we were very new to being aware of the system we got called fake by a k/n and system Amino because we talked about a time where Alex as a joke put Wheatley in a closet in the old headspace which became a running joke in the headspace. Apparently they thought that meant we were faking lmao.
After that we got outed as a system and people we didn't even know started accusing us of faking for attention because we had one alter that was a introject of the same character- and at the time the only alters active were introjects- as the person who outed us. At this point we had started to try and be more public about our system by drawing silly little comics of us doing stupid shit, but we stopped after that.
We decided to become SUPER open about being a System more recently, about a year ago we got into HLVRAI and the AU side of the community- ended up getting to meet two of the creators of a AU and they asked if we wanted to join their discord server and we did. Ended up finding a very welcoming and open community with those people and met more systems, it helped our host Sting stop trying to keep the system on a down low and being afraid of splitting more people as well as us being more open online about being a system.
I'm sure there's still archived streams from one of our friends where Bubby would join in front and joke around on the streams VC call with everyone and their stream chat!
Of course there's still dangers with us being public, but for now, using this place and our own channel to try and not only talk about things we've experienced with the hopes it will help people, but also show singlets or new systems that it's really not something for people to be afraid of, and it's not what awful Hollywood movies portray it as either.
