Sometimes Plurals: aww man we aren’t switching much lately :( I wish we were.

Those same plurals when they do switch: OW ow ow owwww OWWW my head,,, ouchie,,,,,,,, why is this happening to me

Sometimes I end up tricking myself into believing that my system is super overt and I'm faking.

And then everything goes quiet in my head for months and I can't tell who I am, I can't distinguish between alters, my wife can't tell who's fronting when. It becomes the same as it was before system awareness.

And I think that's normal. I think it's normal to have periods where it's less obvious who's fronting, what's going on, where the dissociation and other symptoms are more prominent than the alters.

I treat my headmates like symptoms when it gets like this, because I'm afraid that they've never been real.
