ANSWERS UNDER THE CUT:

who hogs the duvetDaffodil finds the Commonwealth to be super cold, so she burritos herself in their blankets, but she also wraps Mac up with her to leech his body heat. It’s actually kind of A Problem because he ends up totally suffocated. So I guess the answer is neither!

who texts/rings to check how their day is goingIn a modern AU, MacCready would be the one texting constantly. He’d send her increasingly obscure memes that she doesn’t understand and that he will not explain.

who’s the most creative when it comes to giftsDaffodil lives for giving creative gifts. They’re either something incredibly sentimental or something incredibly gaudy and over-the-top. There is no in-between.

who gets up first in the morningThey’re both night owls and sleep until the late afternoon when left to their own devices. But if they’re on the road, MacCready is usually the first one awake, because he has a hard time falling asleep when he doesn’t feel completely safe. He’ll drag Daffodil out of her sleeping bad at first light whether she likes it or not.

who suggests new things in bedDaffodil suggests things that are new to MacCready, but Mac’s the one who hits her with ideas that even she hadn’t considered. Most of them are Bad but she’ll try anything once. Let’s just say they’re both very acquainted with Doc Weathers.

who cries at moviesYou’d think it’d be Daffodil, but it’s Mac. He’s a bigger sap than he would ever, ever admit. Daffodil gets distracted by the technical aspects of films/plays, like the acting and costuming.

who gives unprompted massagesDaffodil asks for massages unprompted. I don’t think that counts.

who fusses over the other when they’re sickThey both do, but MacCready gets especially stressed when Daffodil is sick. Hearing someone hacking and wheezing reminds him too much of Duncan. It’s part of the reason he hates Daffodil’s Med-X addiction - the withdrawal gives her flu-like symptoms that trigger memories of his son.

who gets jealous easiestMacCready, definitely. He’s mostly monogamous, while Daffodil’s got a lot of love to share.

who has the most embarrassing taste in musicBold of you to assume either one of them can feel shame

who collects something unusualMacCready collects comic books. Daffodil hasn’t really collected anything since she got shot in the leg over her Sunset Sarsaparilla Star Caps.

who takes the longest to get readyUnsurprisingly, Daffodil.

who is the most tidy and organisedThey’re both absolute wrecks. Whenever they find a semi-permanent place to settle down for a spell, it only takes a day or so before the place looks like a bomb went off. Somebody please help them.

who gets most excited about the holidaysThey get equally excited for holidays, because that means it’s party time. These two are always ready to party.

who is the big spoon/little spoonThe fun thing about being more or less the same height is they can switch on and off. Mac prefers being the little spoon, though.

who gets most competitive when playing games and/or sportsMac can and will leave Daffodil in the dust, no matter the stakes. Daffodil’s just here to have a good time, MacCready is here for glory.

who starts the most argumentsMacCready’s more prone to complaining, while Daffodil just goes with the flow. Their arguments will either fizzle out in five minutes or drag on for days.

who suggests that they buy a petMacCready’s never had a pet before, so he jumps at the chance. I headcanon that at some point, they run into Gene selling his gentle beautiful rottweiler and they buy her without hesitation. They bicker for weeks about what to call her, because Daffodil wants to name her My Fair Lady and MacCready wants to name her Minigun. They finally flipped a join for it and Mac won. (The call her “Mini” for short and she is a Very Good Girl)

what couple traditions they haveThe first thing they do in a new town or settlement is hit up every available bar. Between the two of them, they’ll sample everything on the menu. Most settlements only have one bar, so it’s exciting when there are two or more. After their return to the Commonwealth, their favorite settlement is Starlight City, a bustling town built in the Starlight Drive-In, because it has four whole bars.

what tv shows they watch togetherThey tune in to The Silver Shroud as often as they can. Sometimes they find the odd holotape of an old TV show or film, and they’ll always curl up to watch it on Daffodil’s Pip-Boy, regardless of what it is. They’ve got a soft spot for cheesy old educational shorts.

what other couple they hang out withThis is totally cheating but I don’t really have any other OC ships they cross paths with and I can’t think of anyone in canon, but they’d totally hang with your Vaughn and Nick and Hancock! They already like Hancock and Nick and Vaughn seems delightful.

how they spend time together as a coupleIf they’re not doing something fun, they’re out there running some kind of scheme or chasing after some caps. They don’t like to sit still for too long. Even if it’s just haggling in the market or dancing to the radio, they’re always doing something.

who made the first moveDaffodil definitely made the first move. And the second and third. Here’s a shameless plug for any interested parties~

who brings flowers homeDaffodil has always adored flowers. One of her favorite things about travelling is seeing what different, beautiful things grow in different regions. She’s learned to only bring flowers with medicinal properties as gifts to MacCready, because he always eats them.

who is the best cookCooking is a team effort. With their powers combined, they can cook a semi-decent one-course meal. Daffodil’s the best at mixing drinks, though.

1) Who is the most affectionate?

Probably Claire, then Curie, then Piper.

4) Favorite non-sexual activity?

They enjoy stargazing from a vantage point. Its something they find very special.

6) What is their favorite feature of their partner’s?

Claire loves Piper’s smile, its usually seen in a good situation too. She also likes seeing Curie’s mind at work, solving problems and seeing her process.

8) Nicknames? & if so, how did they originate?

The only real one is Piper calling Claire “Blue”, based on the very blue winter coat she wears a lot, and was wearing when they first met.

Thanks for sending an ask in! :D This is in a “middle-section” for my oc Dyraen.

Dyraen took out her notebook and strode up to the front counter. Swiftly she wrote “Do you have any mercs who speak the language of business?” on it and then handed it to the attendant. 

“One moment please,” the attendant responded before pulling out a large ledger from underneath the counter. From what she could tell, it seemed to be full of names and specialties. Things like pikeman and musketeer. Hopefully it was a recent list of guild members as she didn’t particularly feel like sitting here all day. She also hoped the attendant didn’t give her the name of one of the lazy looking mercenaries currently slouching about. How would laziness be beneficial to her quest? It certainly wouldn’t manage to kill a deified queen. 

“Are you okay with an ex-pirate? Or would someone more used to fighting on land fit your needs better?”

“It doesn’t matter,” she wrote. It really didn’t. As long as they could hold their own in terms of  one-on-one combat
