*wheezes* Do you know how hard it is to create a hedgehog anthro that does NOT look too much like a Sonic oc? (Not bashing on Sonic OCs by the way! There are some really gorgeous characters out there that I just adore! I personally just don't want a Sonic based char.) Luckily I had some great pointers from my friends! You can still see the Sonic inspiration in here, but now it's a lot more subtle. ANYWAYS! This is Syntyche (Pronounced Sin-tike [I think]). He's half color blind. What do I mean by that? Well, his grey and white right eye can see in only black and white. But her right eye can see perfectly in color. So he often keeps his right eye closed. Because let's face it; if you have one eye that can see in color, and the other in only black and white, your vision would probably be kind of wonky... Due to his strange half disability, and the fact that the white mark is over his colorblind eye, he's always been rumored as having been born with a curse, or some other nonsense. He's really just a normal guy who wants to make friends, but everyone's a bit nervous around him because of the floating rumors. Interesting fact about the name Syntyche: Just today I was reading through Philippians 4, and I came across the name as one of the people Paul mentions specifically. I read it over several times, then looked at the concept sketches I had made of Syntyche, and I just knew that was gonna be his name...
