She is the most amazing person I have ever met in my life and I love her to pieces okay.  She’s a giant dork (but maybe not as much of a dork as me), and she is like a super special awesome mega giga fangirl nerd bitch (and I mean that in the most endearing way possible) and I haven’t seen her since august and that’s lame. But I love her a lot.

Probably spring.

I wanted to be a teacher for a while, and a veterinarian, and a fire fighter, and a dancer, and then a teacher again, and then an actress.  Actress stuck.

just for you, I’m going to answer all the questions I didn’t answer yet, but I’mma do it under a readmore

3 - Defendant - there are a lot of defendants technically even Nick is a defendant but if I’m going to go with off off my gut it’s gonna be Vera Misham

I loved her. she was so sweet and quiet and adorable and her way of expressing herself was just. I loved her

4 - Culprit - OK this is a huuuuuuge spoiler for AAI but Calisto Yew

the moment she burst out laughing at Miles was the moment I loved her. We didn’t even know the story yet ofc but just. Miles was being Miles and instead of just going with it she actually laughed, hysterically, at him. I loved her. She just didn’t care. She laughed at everyone. She thought they were all fools. She stepped confidently into the hugest undercover operation of the series thus far and just owned it, owned everyone, had the entire game in the palm of her hand, stared at everyone like they were nothing, laughed at them. She was a wildcard through and through and the most disappointing part of her story was finding out she actually worked for some guy. I headcanon that this was also a lie - she worked for herself. Taking his money while helping his operation was just part of her game, and when she was caught, she took him down with her, because she was the one running this show.

5 - Victim - mmmm I think the whole point of Victims is they’re already dead and we don’t know a whole lot about them. I guess maybe… Constance Courte, from AA5? off the top of my head? She was a teacher who just wanted to instill a sense of justice in her students, dispel the ‘dark age of the law’, she helped make Klavier the person he was (and I’m continually impressed by Klavier), and probably Yumihiko as well, and she probably had a huge impact on a number of the students coming out of Themis, who will eventually help turn the court of law back to the side of justice. 

6 - Assistant - Trucy counts as an assistant right? I don’t even have to think about this. Maya was great. Ema was fantastic. Pearls was adorable. Kay was awesome. Trucy was the best thing ever. Can anyone in the whole of creation ever top Trucy Wright in ‘being the best ever’? probably not

how does one get to be Trucy Wright? How does Trucy Wright get to be an actual character who exists? the world could not be any more beautiful a place unless Trucy was an Actual Real Life Human Being Somewhere (which she probably is, I’ve just never met her)

8 - Finale - as in ending from every game? Honestly… I wanna say the ending to Justice for All. JfA was just overall a really… tense game. There was stuff going on and it was whatever but the undertone throughout the entire game was just… tense. I don’t know how else to put it. We were dealing with a Phoenix who was somewhat bitter at the world and this strange character setup of everyone trying to figure things out individually without talking to each other and then Miles showed up and instead of relieving that pressure it just made it worse, because we were already so heavily weighed down by what was going on…

there was a point where it just got hard to breathe. And that happened in AA5 as well that was also a really tense finale (those two probably almost tie in my book). But it got hard to breathe and we were dealing with trying to figure things out without making anything worse happen and technically that happened again, in TnT, and in AAI2, but JfA was the first that this series got really intense and it’s probably going to always be my favorite finale.

9 - Other Case - mmmmmm thats actually a bit hard because I think every case has something about it I didn’t like. Probably the last case in AAI, more than a little because of everything with the Steel Samurai in that case (and also Shih-na). If I have to choose something that isn’t a finale though… probably the first case in TnT, with Mia and Feenie. that was a great case. It had Dahlia. Phoenix ate a heart shaped vial. what wasn’t to love.

10 - Game - just game in general then? Thats tough because there are a lot of different reasons to love every game - I can love X about a game and hate Y, and vice versa - like, the characterization and setup and story and everything to both JfA and AJ were my favorite, and yet JfA has the circus cases which was annoying and AJ had a lot of minor ‘wtf’ moments. AAI2 was great almost all around but there was a lot about the whole confectioners case that was kinda ‘wtf’. So I’m going to have to go with the first game, because even though it also had a few odd moments, those were mostly minor and it has the nostalgia factor of being the first game. That was a pretty good game.

If you can, come check out Longwood Theatre's production of The Laramie Project, a show that might be a little dated, but still features issues prevalent today. I'm very proud and excited for this production, and look forward to showing it to the community!
