There's a fight somewhere, why is Britain not in it?
Doug Chapman’s (SNP MP) interpretation of David Cameron’s thought process.
Let's be honest, David Cameron only carried out the Syria vote so people remember him for something other than fucking a pig
Correct me if I’m wrong but bombing Syria to defeat Daesh is like bombing Auschwitz to defeat Nazis.
When you kill a ratio of 1 terrorist to 100 civilians, Daesh aren’t going to care. You’re killing the people you’re trying to "free”. You’re making their job easier. They have plans and bases and hideouts outside of Syria, and they’re going to look at us and laugh, knowing we’re feeding into the fear and hatred they want all the muslims in the world to feel about us. It’s a pointless waste of life. Well done.

Whilst you ignore the demands of the people you’re supposed to serve, you undermine the whole idea of democracy. There is no democracy in this country, there’s no such thing. How dare you pretend to represent us and our wants and needs, pretend we live in a free democratic society when in reality we live in a dictatorship. You may well bomb Syria, but not in our name. Not in the name of good. Not in the name of right. Not in the name of democracy. The blood that will be shed is very much on your hands, on the hands of every MP who voted to further destroy a country which is already irreparable. When daesh grows angrier, stronger, larger… The blame will be on you and the rest of the Western World who think death is a suitable way to fight death. There are no words to describe how much I hate Mr Cameron and his party, and there are no words to describe the disappointment I feel in the Labour members who voted yes. Shame on you all, and may God forgive you for the suffering you will cause, because we certainly never will.
Fight war not wars

Killing people is bad. Let's kill more people to show them it's bad.
David Cameron, probably
