On the second chapter when the reader was calling out the Saja Boys about their names, do you plan on them having "human names" from before they made a deal with Gwi Ma or are you sticking with their cannon names? Totally fine if you do, completely fair if you don't. Either way, I'm gonna read the entirety of this fic. 💜💕

AAAAHHHHH so i've actually been debating a lot about this during the planning stage for this fic. On one hand, giving them more human names would probably be really good for the arcs I have planned out- ESPECIALLY for characters like Baby and Mystery (don't ask why- you'll see later!!)

On the other hand!! I kinda find it really annoying to read through different fics and like. Forgetting who's who. Especially if I'm reading more than one and then all the names get jumbled up in my head.

Also!! I'm actually not super big on K-Pop or Korea in general for that matter. So I've honestly had to do a lot of research for this fic already and idkkkk

I guess if enough people want me to give em actual names then I'll try it. I think it'd be super cute!! But until then they'll probably just stick with their dumb canon names (I love them)

I love the fact that the boys didn't force Y/N to go in the men's bathhouse. Like, they'll mess with her and tease her, but they won't push her into a situation that goes into S.A. territory. They would never admit, but the boys drink their "respect women juice," and that's both charming and hilarious!

These boys BATHE in respect women juice. And when they dont my (y/n) gets to beat them.

Also I started playing Fields of Mistria like a day ago so that's been hogging my attention. yall better cyberbully me into actually writing I WILL get so distracted I spent 8 hours in the mines the other day

For each of them I literally thought about not only how I can make their personalities more distinct but also their approaches to love/friendship and relationships etc etc. I really wanted to expand on how they interact with each other and the fans.

Of course, a driving point was how they'd work together or clash with our (Y/n), which is a big reason I made her a little more character driven and OC-ish. Like if she has major mommy/abandonment issues, how would that clash with Jinu who's whole thing is his guilt over abandoning his family? Stuff like that. Again, I'll explain more about this when we get to it!! I'm super excited for Chapter 3 to drop so we can see a bit more of them

I do not have a taglist!! I will make one if so desired!! This is honestly the first series I've written on tumblr so I'm super excited I get to do all the cool "tumblr author" things!

I'm actually working on a little master post to keep track of things, so when it comes out (probably later today or sometime this week) I'll go ahead and talk more about taglist stuff there so more people can request to be added etc etc.

I've said this before I think(?) but I on top of the Soul Weaver series, I also wanted to start doing oneshot requests/etc to hopefully cover the Saja Boys drought and also to showcase a bit more of the personalities I've come up with for the boys. Also I just want to : P

SPEAKING OF THEIR PERSONALITIES

So!! When I started planning things out for the Soul Weaver series I literally was like. complaining in my head that Jinu's bitch ass was hogging all the screentime and just threw random bullshit at the wall until I got their personalities for this fic.

...Well no, that's not entirely it.

I don't wanna spoil too much but when coming up with their personalities I thought a bit about their different tropes and the very few bits of them we see in the movie, and basically just took it wherever thinking "hey that'd be cool".

MINOR SPOILERS but like. For Romance specifically, I noticed a lot of people seem to headcanon him as like this overly dramatic, super flirty pretty boy, so for this one I thought it'd be fun if he was actually a bit of a cynic! A little love-scorned, a little sarcastic. Maybe he's being overly dramatic on purpose. Especially since, in the movie, he's less "super flirty drama queen" and more sly and teasing (at least in my opinion)

He and Mystery were definitely my favorites to come up with I won't lie (probably because they're my favorites in general) but that was pretty much my thought process when coming up with my interpretations of them. Basically like "what if they were ALSO this?" "What if this is WHY they do this?" etc etc. I really hope I can do a good job of conveying that in future chapters when we get to see them a bit more.

This MC and how you've written the Saja Boys make me think that they would 100% sing "Loser, Baby" to each other. Who gets which role: Angel Dust-> MC and Husk-> Saja Boys, or Angel Dust-> Saja Boys and Husk-> MC doesn't matter. Somehow, both scenarios are accurate 🤣.
