Let’s do a head count of all the female Mianite characters!

- Ianite, bland this season and possibly evil. Apparently bi but that was added in too late for me to fully accept it. Cliche representation, too, as the goddess of balance.

- Angrec, appeared once and has now been forgotten about.

- Aianite, dead.

- Dec’s wife and Tom’s sister, both dead and nameless, and pretty much forgotten.

- Gandus, evil.

- Sonja, overlooked in other seasons and isn’t coming back.

- Martha, very cliche poly representation as ‘the one who flirts with everyone’, feels very weird to me, also not in this season.

- Freya and Alva, dead.

- Captain Capsize, dead.

Did I miss anyone?

So all the women in Mianite are either dead, evil, forgotten, or a LGBT+ cliche. I know I’m not the only one who sees a problem with this.
