Nugu GG of the Week #578 : T-Angel / Trot Angel / Holly Queen (part 2)
T-Angel after a long hiatus came back in 2023 with a new single album titled New Beginnings. Signifying a official rebrand and new start for the group. The song Oppaya is a solid trot song with a strong electric guitar on the melody. They also included a EDM version, very Lee Jung Hyun coded. Could be them doing an homage to the Holly Queen era perhaps 🤔
So far, as far as I'm aware, this is the only song the new era of T-Angel has released. Fingers crossed they comeback and rule the trot scene 🙏

Nugu GG of the Week #577 : T-Angel / Trot Angel / Holly Queen (part 1)
T-Angel (or Trot Angel) is a semi trot girl group that apparently debuted in 2006. However much like a former NGGotW mention, LPG (y'all still streaming Arm Pillow?), they had multiple 'seasons' over the years. However I'm only familiar with the newest iteration. The group currently is made of Juhee, Sea (nugu darling 💕), Shinbi, and Suhyeon. Sea is a former member of a former NGGotW mention Ruby (y'all still streaming Get Down? hopefully not because that song isn't great but they did serve looks).
So T-Angel is a semi trot group so the T is for Trot. They did briefly rebrand as Holly Queen (or Harlequin) for one release.
I only know of the current lineup I was surprised to see the group had a long standing history, however unlike LPG who had a decent sized discography this group just sporadically released single albums. Most of which I'm unable to find so I included in this first post 2 of their previous releases.
Welcome from 2nd/3rd season of the group (? Idk it's confusing). Welcome is a standard upbeat and fun trot song, definitely gets you dancing. The song was released in 2013.
The other song is from their Holly Queen (or Harlequin) brief rebrand. The group moved away from trot music and moved into EDM/club music, very Turn Down For What vibe this song.
