Binding of The Sunne in Splendour by the excellent @elrhiarhodan!
"Galahad," she hears Arthur say, "keep moving. Don't look back. Do not engage the target, I repeat, do not engage. Galahad. Galahad. Do not - I repeat, do not - Eggsy, don't you bloody - Eggsy, get out of there, don't bother with the chandelier, get out of there, get out of there, get out-"
Roxy rolls her eyes and grabs hold of the enemy spy's loaded gun.
“Ach, no, Harry! Someone to spar with, not murder, you bleeding menace!” Harry's responding expression would be a pout on any other face, but Merlin just swings him roughly by the shoulders to face Eggsy, and gives another shove. “Go kill Galahad, if you like. He's so far behind on paperwork, it'll hardly make a difference.”
“Merlin should have missed us already, and Lancelot and Percival will be here to retrieve us soon.”
Eggsy gave what appeared to be the most dignified sniff in his repertoire. “I ain’t speaking to you, Harry.”
Jamal had known since they were kids that Eggsy was the type to get a little manic- even happy- during a crisis. But ever since the marines fell through Jamal had been pretty confident that Eggsy wouldn't be able to make a career out of it.
Apparently he'd been wrong.
The next day Harry gets a package, but he’s not home, so the courier knocks on the Unwins’ door. ‘’This is for Harry Hart; he should live next door? Do you know him?’’ he asks when Eggsy answers the door.
"No, never talked to him, sorry. Bye!’’ Eggsy says and slams the door in the man’s face.
