if the t-rex couldn’t see you if you didn’t move, how did it avoid running into trees constantly?

Okay, so I went to see Jurassic World right and I started thinking with my overactive imagination about T-rex’s. And I thought a good way to outsmart one might be to hide behind a glass wall/door. And then I imagined a T-rex creeping by a mirror and thought if it’s sight is based on movement and it saw itself moving in the mirror, would it attack the mirror and get confused or do you think it would be smart enough to know it’s just a reflection?
