Netflix did it again.
A year or so ago, I remembered that “Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events“ existed and wanted to watch it. Found it on Netflix, all is dandy. Until I saw that the version on Netflix had seasons instead of being a movie like I remembered. Same name and everything just so I’d be confused. Didn’t want to watch that frankly because, in my opinion, the story was well-paced in the movie to the point where I knew just enough about the characters to find them interesting. I didn’t want to know more about them. So I don’t understand why you’d stretch it out to (at the moment) 3 (!) seasons. Of course, I didn’t watch it.Now I remembered Fargo. Great story, well-paced, heavy and thought-provoking (as far as I can remember). Again something that was perfectly structured for a movie and worked well. Wanted to rewatch it again, found it on Netflix and guess what? It also has three seasons! With the exact same name too! But now with Watson from Sherlock. He’s got the same problem for me now that Benddown Cutthroatbeach and Tom Hanks have: I don’t view them as characters anymore when they play in movies. I just see the actor in progressively convoluted scenarios.

Hanks sent reporters working inside the White House an espresso machine along with a typewritten note:
“Keep up the good fight for Truth, Justice, and the American Way,” the note reads. “Especially for the Truth part.”
Inviting Tom Hanks
Out of them shall come thanksgiving and the sound of merrymakers. Jeremiah 30:19a If you were to ask Tom Hanks to write down his first initial and his last name, it would look like this: T.Hanks Can you believe it? “Thanks”, right there in his name! I think I should invite Tom Hanks for Thanksgiving dinner! He’d be the perfect guest to make the holiday fun and memorable. He could steer the…

July Song 16: "The Death Of Flowers" by T.hanks
July 2021 | Song #16
Artist: T.hanks feat. Meggie Morris
Song: “The Death Of Flowers“
Musician T.hanks bills his music as “your grandparents’ favourite songs with a twist”. I cherish artists brave enough to do something completely different. “The Death of Flowers” is from his new EP of the same name. It’s like reminiscing with a song you’ve never heard before.
