Well, there was no lie; there always seems to be a little bit of trouble. Between her and Mattie, that is. Dad always says that she should do something if it’s not working, and maybe Dot should. Most times she’s just willing to up and leave and stop. But it’s going to be so good for her in the long run. Just being able to look back and go; ‘This was good for me. This did so much for me.’ That’s why Silas was important. He kept her straight. Told her how to make it work so she could continue with this crazy thing that wasn’t working so well but did so much for Dot. So bringing herself to his place, like she does regularly, she knocked on the door, fidling with her small fingers. Coming to someone for help wasn’t normal, and she really hated doing it, but she needed this. Really, she did. As much as she’d hate to admin it, she needs the help. Thankfully Silas is a good guy, and doesn’t give her shit for needed help with one of the most difficult people she’s ever known.
