a shoutout to my mother

For doing more than what was required and for caring the most. For noticing that I’ve been crying when I haven’t made a sound. For proving to me that I am someone to be proud of and someone worth encouraging. Thank you for being in my corner, espcially when no one else is. I love you the most--not just for being my mom, but for being you. People compliment me and I have to ask them, “but have you met my mother?” because your voice is more soothing, your smile is brighter, and you’re better at tennis than I am :)  And to every mom who has been awake at 2am pricking little fingers or just wondering if their child is sleeping okay, I hope your mother’s day was great, too. Thank you
