Metal Sonic would fucking HATE T2006, a robot who believes himself to be the true sonic and the robot who could 100% replicate sonic physically if he wanted to.

#again metal did have shapeshifting at some point #like he was able to pose as eggman in heroes but i think he can only hold a semi accurate replication for a short time #in heroes they were fighting him at a distance too so we cant see how accurate his impression truly was #while t06 is able to hold a very accurate replication forever if he wanted to #phantomtxt #t06 #t2006

The Metal Sonic from the bad future does end up helping Silver against T2006, like the T800. The dude is old and full of hate, for his creator, for T06 but mostly for himself. He wants the bad future averted as much as Silver does. So everything that happened to him (Eggman throwing him away, him realising he'll never be the true Sonic) never ends up happening.

He probably has some "bonding" moments with Shadow and Sonic too.
