FAREWELL TERMINATOR 2 3D. One of my favorite attractions at Universal Studios Florida got replaced this year, and it seriously bummed me out that one of the last attractions from the 90s was shut down. However, nothing can replace the memories I have. I saw it the first year it opened, when the audience laughed so hard at every Arnold one liner. I’ve had the privilege of meeting a lot of cast and crew, and hearing stories. 20 year is nothing to snort at in the length of an attraction. So happy to have created this tribute!

Holy Hell was T2 in 3D GOOD!

I hate 3D. Filmed in or converted to. I think its a cheap gimmick. But this? This was shockingly excellent! When they did Jurassic Park upconvert a few years ago it was mediocre and lousy. Added nothing to the experience. Not the case here. I saw and heard things I never have in my dozens of viewings. And it was so immersive! You really felt like you were there for some moments. Especially the opening battle and finale! I’ve endured 3D before for seeing a great old film on the big screen again. I went in with similar expectations. But I was really surprised and pleased that it went beyond just being a gimmick. The fixes were minor and only noticeable to us obsessives. The few oddly blocked scenes - like John and Uncle Bob fixing the truck - were few and far between. It was just great! And my nephew (11) loved it to boot!

26 years ago came in Terminator 2. Renowned as the greatest sci-fi sequel of all time. On 8/29/2017 it was re-released for it's 25th anniversary. For the first time I got to experience it on the big screen & seeing it in 3D reminded me of the show at Universal Studios back in the day. After 26 years this movie still holds up (although some scenes of CG are dated) & even though it's the theatrical cut, the 3D conversion made it worthwhile. My words alone can't explain how nostalgic it was for me. I don't normally go for 3D gimmicks but I made an exception.
