what we know about them so far:

they present femme

they use the personal pronoun "boku," which is usually used by boys and men, but sometimes women and girls, too

so far, no character has referred to them in the third person - only by their name

I find it really cute how the ED of Tokyo 24th Ward is called 255,255,255 because it’s a reference to the RGB colour system where every colour is determined by three values ranging from 0 to 255 that represent the ratio of red, green and blue in the colour (0 being black and 225 being the brightest red/green/ blue).

Therefore 225,225,225 means the colour is a combination of the brightest possible red, green AND blue and is actually the colour code that makes white! This is of course a nod towards the three main characters and also the fact that the ED is sung by their voice actors!

Me watching Tokyo 24th Ward: I like Kouki, he’s my favourite character!

Me after episode 5: NOOOO KOUKI WHAT DID YOU DO

I mean he’s still my fav though because once I like a character they latch onto my heart forever. But seriously did his dad completely brainwash him as a child?? His dad is super shady mayor and I refuse to believe Kouki would have such a strong view about law/criminals without at least some conditioning being involved.

This sets up the possibility for some major character development for Kouki though. Going from the mindset of “all criminals are bad, the law is good” to realising the flaws in the current system. Kinda like Ginoza from Psycho Pass. I hope at some point there’ll be some kind of stand-off between him and his dad. I really want him and Ran to make up though I’m not really sure how, because what he did was pretty damning to their relationship.
